"Your highness!" Anne exclaimed, her eyes wide with shock.

"What are you doing in the princess's bed?"

The king sat up, rubbing his eyes, looking at Anne and then at the princess so as to the knights.

The princess's face turned bright red as she realized the compromising position they were in. "It's not what it looks like!" she protested, holding up her hands and getting up as she pushed Anne and knights out of room To talk. "We were just...uh...talking, and I must have fallen asleep too."

The knights looked at each other, their expressions skeptical. "Talking?" one of them repeated. "In bed?"

The princess's face turned red with indignation as she protested, "It was innocent, I assure you! We were just discussing...um...state matters."

Anne's eyes widened in disbelief, her voice stuttering, "But princess...you...him...His Majesty...bed..." She couldn't finish the sentence, her shock rendering her speechless.

Princess Levanna tried to reassure her, "It was nothing, Anne! His Majesty only shared a bed, and he didn't touch or do anything to me!"

Anne's expression darkened, her anger palpable, "Okay, as you say, Your Highness...but if something happens, I will throw that king out of the window!" She warned, her voice low and menacing.

Princess Levanna couldn't help but giggle at Anne's overprotectiveness, "Sure...but now, bring breakfast for us, and also inform king Exian's servant to bring his clothes."

Anne nodded energetically, accepting the order, and walked away with a determined stride, her devotion to the princess evident in her every step.

As Anne left, Princess Levanna turned to face Exian, but her gaze faltered as she took in his towering figure. Before she could react, her eyes locked onto his, and she found herself drowning in the depths of his grey irises. Her heart began to race, pounding loudly in her ears, as a warm blush spread across her cheeks.

King Exian, still half-asleep, stood behind the princess, his eyes fixed on her with a confused expression. The air was thick with tension as they stared at each other, their hearts beating in unison.

But their moment was abruptly shattered by Anne's loud interruption. "YOUR HIGHNESS AND HIS MAJESTY KING EXIAN, YOUR BREAKFAST IS READY!"

Exian startled, and the princess gasped in surprise, her anger flashing towards Anne. "Anne, what's with the behavior?!" she demanded.

Anne's sweet tone belied her gaze, which shot a warning glance at the king. "Nothing, princess...just informing you that His Majesty is calling you." The princess's eyes narrowed, sensing Anne's subtle jab. She turned back to Exian, her heart still racing from their earlier gaze. But Exian's expression remained neutral, his eyes not revealing any emotion. "Shall we proceed to breakfast, princess." he asked, his voice firm but polite.

Levanna nodded, her cheeks still warm from their earlier encounter. As they walked to the dining hall, Levanna couldn't help but steal glances at Exian. She sensed a disconnect between them somewhere but then knocking heard on the door.
