It's a cold december night with a cloudy cast in the sky and a cold wind blasting through the empty streets of Seoul. Mingyu and Wonwoo stand in front of the courtroom where Wonwoo just stood as a witness in Kim Minju's trial. She's been prosecuted for several counts of rape and the murder of Kim Minho.

The number of victims coming forward, after Minju's case became known in Jeju, shocked Mingyu to his core. 15 boys and 2 girls reported to have been molested by Minju when they were minors. The trial was expedited due to the fact that the statue of limitations was coming closer for some of these victims, as they are already in their mid-thirties and forties.

Multiple people witnessed Minju's horrendous acts but were silenced by her horrible threats. The biggest challenge was getting key evidence to prove she killed Minho, because the diary was not enough. It did say that she threatened to kill him, yet there was no evidence that she actually did, so Mingyu and Wonwoo had to find a plan.

The one key element that finally put the trial to its end was the note that „Minho" had left in his room when he died. The page was ripped out of the notebook Mingyu had found and the handwriting was proven to be Minju's, not Minho's. Mingyu spent sleepless nights looking through the handwritings and had to fight for hell to get a copy of the note. Thankfully, his dad was able to pull some strings and found someone to copy it from the evidence locker.

After Minju found herself getting closer to be exposed, her lawyer tried to be smart and convinced her to confess to her crimes, thinking the judge would lower the sentence if she showed remorse for her acts. What he didn't know, was how vicious that woman was. She had been waiting to tell someone about her crimes, she was proud of.

She confessed to murdering Minho and then she didn't stop confessing, she went on to explain the murder in detail and the ways she'd use and abuse the children she taught at the school.

———

The cold courtroom is filled with countless people. Victims, parents and most importantly, Mingyu, Wonwoo and both their parents sitting in the front watching the judge call for Minju to stand up. Sitting in her seat next to her arrogant and sloppy lawyer, Minju stood up to confess to her crimes as her lawyer suggested. Finally, after so many years of being silent, she was able to stand in front of a crowd and explain how she pulled off her actions without getting caught for so long. She was proud, this moment was finally happening.

„When Minho threatened to post an article in the school paper, about our relationship, I had to do something. We had been in love since he was 12, we were perfect. I loved him but I couldn't let him take my job away from me. So that day I brought him home and he went to sleep. Mina and me were drinking tea in the living room and when she went to sleep, I told her I would clean up and go home. When she fell asleep, I went to Minho's room and took the notebook. He was a tight sleeper so it was no problem, I went to the side of his bed and took my knife out of my pocket and slit his wrists while he slept. He woke up immediately, of course so I put a pillow over his face as he was struggling to breathe. He thrashed around for a bit but then he finally stopped. I wrote the note, left it on the table and took the pillowcase with me to burn it. The next day i went to work. That's when I met Dohyun."

Then she went on to explain further how she had to find someone to replace Minho, now that he's dead. She said that Minho was too old for her at that time anyway and it was time to find someone else. Dohyun was a petite, brown haired man in his twenties and he was the next witness to stand against her. He spoke up about how she would inflict wounds on him for her pleasure and make him do horrible stuff to other students his age as well. She'd make videos of them and make them watch as well.
