Even on the Ark, when she was considered one of the 'privileged', but they couldn't get the correct pills to soothe her ill Mother because they were rationed for a more severe moment, she took matters into her own hands and in the middle of the night, snuck into the medical room and snatched the pills. She thought she went unseen but a guard had just gotten back from relieving himself and caught her. It was the big news that day, Marcus Kane's beloved daughter arrested for stealing. In the end, Her mother still died from the unknown sickness. Turns out the pills wouldn't have helped anyways, they weren't the right ones she thought they were.
