VOLUME 1 CHAP 5

On a typical morning

Nicholas 77th ( me ): *wakes up on the bed* Mmmm... what a beautiful day.

Nicholas gets out of bed and tidies up his whole room with the help of his servants. Then, after a long bath, he went downstairs to eat breakfast with his parents.

Nicholas: Hey, mum. 

Mina 75th ( Mum ): Yes, son?

Nicholas: Your dish is tasty as usual.

Mina: Why, thank you.

Patrick 74th ( Dad ): Son.

Nicholas: What?

Patrick: Are you prepared for the ceremonial and first day of being the emperor?

Nicholas: YES

Patrick: Don't get too excited, otherwise you will not like it.

Nicholas: Okay, dad. 

Patrick: Good.

Dennis 79th ( Little Brother ): Brother!

Nicholas: Yes?

Dennis: Where did you put my headphones?!

Nicholas: I put it in my drawer because it hasn't fully charged.

Dennis: Okay.

Many hours have passed, and Nicholas's ceremonial and official announcement as the current Founding Emperor has already begun. After that, we returned to our mansion, and Nicholas's job started now.

Nicholas is sitting in his royal office seat, with about 50 people consisting of ministers from each field, military generals, concubines, assistants, aristocrats, a grand pope, businessmen, and other high-ranking officials, especially his family for his aide.

Prime Minister Landen: Alright, now we are all finally here, let's discuss and do the usual work. And congratulations, Nicholas Hania 77th, for being our current emperor and we serve you well. So... as the prime minister, most of all of our country's problems are answered by the whole Imperial Parliament and our Emperor.

Minister of Commerce and Trade: Agreed. The economy status is still stable, so there's nothing wrong, except a few which I handled personally.

Commander-in-chief: Affirmative. The status of our recruitments and the defense systems are in good shape. But, if I may, the military needs a bit more budget, because some old equipments used by soldiers are obsolete.

Minister of Human Resources: You want to increase your military budget? Heck no. Because we all promised that we should balance out national budget. But, I shall too say that we should focus on social policy.

Minister of Education: Hey! What about the education system? Does that matters to the whole empire? Mate, I am concerned that we will become nothing like idiots, if we do not increase our education rate.

Landen: That's enough bickering, for now. So, Founding Emperor, what shall we do now?

Nicholas: If I may, I think our economy should go first, because money is everything, right? After that, the education is next, because I want our nation to be more intelligent. Then, the military, we planned to salvage all of our old military stuff to produce the latest ones. Then, social policy. We should strengthen our all social services and local agencies.

The ministers goes a little silence. Most of them agreed to his terms, and some of them still in silence, because nothing else to say against it.

Hours later...

Nicholas: *groans* What a tiring day.

Servant: Master, may I serve you some refreshments?

Nicholas: Alright, get it for me, please.
