Great Hania Empire & The Empire Summons

PROLOGUE CHAP 2

Many, many months have passed. Nicholas, now... a legendary adventurer, a national hero, and one of the wealthiest people in this new fantasy yet the late medieval world, decides it's time for him to create something unthinkable, yet he waited and planned for a long time: create his own country, literally. But, millions of questions flooded his mind, what would he do, if he had a large amount of wealth, recognition, resources, and everything else he acquired, stored inside his magical storage space all along? 

First, he started to find a new settlement or land from anyone else to buy. Hours later, he finally buys a small city named Charlestown, located beside the fertile lands and the Umar River, a huge and long river, from the North to the South of the unnamed continent larger than Russia and Europe combined, and the shape is similar to a cabbage, or China's. Nicholas bought the small city from a corrupted city lord named Charles Rang, a middle-aged city lord who was infamous for making his citizens' lives miserable because he taxed a lot to his people and secretly kept slaves in his castle. He doesn't care about anything, except power and fame. Now, Charles is happy to get his money from Nicholas.

So, minutes later, Nicholas arrived at the entrance of the small city, and yes... the surroundings were similar to an Indian slum. The people he saw were in a horrible state, most of them living in dilapidated houses, most of the guards were injured due to lack of medication, and so forth... Then, after he arrives at the castle, he announces to everyone in this city, but a few seconds before finishing his declaration as a new city lord, many people throw stuff at him, mistakenly thinking that it's a new puppet of Charles. Nicholas quickly closed the doors and windows, to avoid any problems. And then, he went downstairs to see several passages to some areas, including the dungeon. At the dungeon, he saw several chained people, all females with beautiful and sexy bodies and appearances, as Charles's sex slaves. Then, he released all of them, and they are grateful to him. He carried a hungry fox girl to his bedroom. A few minutes later, the fox girl wakes up and she suddenly attacks Nicholas, but he gains the upper hand and calms her down.

After giving the slaves some food and clothing, they are grateful, and they are now freed from shackles. A few minutes later, he was giving an announcement to all of his people in public. But suddenly, a warrior tried to assassinate him but was stopped by the fox girl that he saved. The fox girl is also a warrior, and she warns the people that if anyone kills the city lord will be sentenced to death, and then everyone stops bickering and ranting about Nicholas. It's all Charles's fault because of two things: the tax rate and the discrimination against all people. So, Nicholas was seriously mad, and he announced that today was going to be changed. Many people were confused about what he was talking about until they finally acknowledged him as the new city lord after he officially decreased the tax rate from 200% to 20% and he swore his responsibility to do his job as the city lord.

About days later, Charlestown has already been renamed to Nicholassia, and the people here are working together to rebuild their homes and build new buildings. They have provided plenty of food and resources thanks to the paddy fields, the forests, and the large river not far from the city, a few of them are recruited as security guards to the whole city, and the city lords from the neighboring cities came by and discussing trade deals with Nicholas. But still, there were a few issues that were dangerous to the city and people are a few of them were not cooperative and selfish, mounted brigands would come here the next month for their raids, and winter would be coming soon, experiencing food shortages and of course, flu.

This month should be their busiest one. They faced numerous challenges and learned new stuff. Healthcare, literacy, development, economy, and so on are all making tremendous progress. Crime, corruption, and death rates have now significantly decreased, thanks to Nicholas's new policies and relentless to kill all crimes and corruption rates. All those who committed heinous crimes, especially dared to against Nicholas are imprisoned and forced into rehabilitation, because of the abolishment of the death penalty and slavery.

Next month, many neighboring city-states inspired Nicholas's city-state, and they decided to join or assimilate into his territory by signing several treaties about trade, diplomacy, immigration, and war officially. Now, outside the City State of Nicholassia, there are seven empires, hundreds of independent kingdoms, and some unclaimed territories in the central region of the unnamed continent, due to mountain terrains. Most of them are ruled by local nobilities and powerful monarchies.  ( It gets well too complicated so this story will make you confused )

Time skipped to a year later ( 01,07,1400 CE ), Great Hania Empire was founded officially. A few days before the Great Hania Empire was formed, the previous family rulers were killed by one of their members. The only members of that previous family rulers are one girl and three men. They are all re-appointed as governors and assistants to Nicholas. The previous family rulers were the Pendograst family the whole time, so that girl is Alice, who was saved by Nicholas from bandits a year ago. Nicholas named himself Nic Hania 1st, the First Founding Emperor of the Great Hania Empire. A few days later, business was booming, the national income had increased a lot, population rate had increased up to 200 million. It was marked as the good year of the Great Hania Empire. However, this is just temporary, because of the threats from the outside world and countries as well.
