After the overwhelming success of Love Yourself: Tear, preparations were already underway for the next album in the series, Love Yourself: Answer. The meeting room buzzed with excitement as the group gathered to discuss the album's direction.

"So, for this one, we're doing solo songs again," Manager Sejin announced.

"Yes!" RM nodded with a knowing smile. "I know for the rap line, this will be easy," he said, glancing at Suga and J-Hope. "But for the vocalists, I understand it might be more of a challenge. We've got songwriters on hand if you only want to focus on singing, or you can co-write—totally up to you."

"I'm always here if you need help," Suga said.

As one of the group's most brilliant songwriters and producers, his offer wasn't just comforting—it was a golden opportunity.

"And remember, we can always bring in outside songwriters if you want something different." Sejin adds in.

You nodded along with the rest, feeling both excited and overwhelmed by the possibilities. The meeting wrapped up, and as you walked out of the room, Jungkook, your new boyfriend, appeared by your side.

"Do you know what you're going to do for your solo?" he asked, tilting his head slightly, clearly eager to hear your thoughts.

You sighed, shaking your head. "No... I don't know the vibe, the lyrics, or even who I want to work with," you admitted. "Do you?"

"I think I have an idea," Jungkook said. "I'd listen to a bunch of music from different artists and producers to get inspired. See what resonates with you."

"Yeah," you said, "I might try that."

And that's exactly what you did. For an entire week, you dove into different musical styles, listening to songwriters and producers from all over the world. Every day, your headphones played different music until you found yourself drawn to one particular producer from the UK—Steve Mac. His work with artists like Ed Sheeran stood out to you. You wanted something pop-driven, but with hard-hitting, meaningful lyrics.

But there was one thing you were sure of: you didn't just want him to write the song for you—you wanted to co-write with him. You felt that collaborating on the lyrics would make it even more personal, something you could truly own as your story.

The next piece of the puzzle fell into place when you realized who you want to produce the track—Pdogg. His experience with BTS makes him the perfect choice.

Excited by the idea, you quickly contacted your manager, Minah unnie. "I think I've found who I want to work with. Can you reach out to Steve Mac for a co-writing session? And I want Pdogg to produce it."

Minah smiled at your enthusiasm and nodded. "I'll make it happen."

You sat in the recording studio, feeling a bit nervous but excited, with your translator beside you, ready to help. You prepared for the call with Steve Mac, who was in the UK. Though you couldn't speak much English beyond basic phrases, you were determined to make this collaboration work. Steve didn't understand Korean, so everything would need to be communicated through the translator.

Taking a deep breath, you said the one English phrase you felt comfortable with: "Hello, I'm Y/N of BTS. Nice to meet you!"

Steve's voice crackled through the speaker. "Nice to meet you too, Y/N!"

You turned to the translator, signaling for them to take over.

"Y/N doesn't speak much English, so I'll be translating for her," the translator explained.

Steve's voice came through the speaker. "No worries! I'm excited to work with everyone. Let's start by talking about whether you want the song to be in Korean, English, or a mix."
