It was finally the weekend after a long eventful week. The sun on its way to its peak, finally the rays starting to enter the warm cozy house. Jungkook drew the curtain so more light could enter.
He kept pacing around walking back and forth from the kitchen to the living room where the entrance was. It was almost an hour of waiting, if the doorbell did not ring within the next few minutes panic and anxiousness would soon creep in Jungkooks body.
So to keep his mind off from overthinking and imagining scenarios he decided to make something for breakfast. Soon the serving plate was filled with a tower of pancakes. The strawberry syrup and the jam bottles already kept ready beside.
He couldn't even make a phone call, the other carelessly forgot his cellphone back in the room. He needs to lecture the other about his carelessness and how it's worrisome for him.
In the mean time he cleaned up the counter and cleared the space that was made a mess, an organized mess to be exact, which was made while preparing pancakes.
Still waiting for the other to comeback he decided to check on his studio affairs, what needed to be done and how it needed to be done, sending important details to Yoongi and Hyunjin for them to see and work on, also asking them about their opinions and suggestions.
Soon enough jungkook jolts up from his chair hearing a loud thud, rushing towards the door to check on this sudden source of ruckus.
There scattered where shopping bags with a few bottles and cans rolling out. A few paper bags torn and in between were the rest of the shopping bags hiding Taehyung under them.
Laying flat on his back unmoving he was seen panting heavily.
Jungkook knelt beside him and moved the grocery bags aside away from the other. Stretched his hand out to pull Taehyung up so he is in a comfortable sitting position. He moved all the hair pushing them behind over his forehead and wiping out the sweat from his face. He cupped his face and looked for any signs that showed he was hurt in any way.
He was surprised when Taehyung all of sudden threw himself on him and started sobbing uncontrollably. This gave a sharp pang to Jungkook's heart watching his love crying hysterically unable to speak in fear.
"Tae baby stop crying please, it's ok I'm here you're safe." He started rubbing his back.
"Take a breath, shh shh it's ok." He kept assuring the older but it was all in vain.
Just then he heard loud barks from outside their house. Those barks just triggered his cries even more. He snuggled impossibly close into Jungkook's chest and he understood why Taehyung was shaking in fear. Taehyung was scared of dogs, scared to death.
"Sweetheart look at me please, look here." a soft voice called out for Taehyung, holding his face gently he turned it towards him so now Taehyung was looking directly at jungkook. He smiled at him but Taehyung's sniffles were making it difficult for jungkook. So he just held him by his nape and slowly pushed the others head on his shoulder.
Taehyung's cheeks were now pressed against Jungkook's crook of neck and his other side of the face on his shoulders. That patch of Jungkook's shirt was now soaked with taehyungs tears, he still hadn't stopped sobbing.
One arm of jungkook was tightly curled around the elders waist and the other on his back with his hand on his nape moving up and down to stroke Taehyung's head.
After a while of sitting in his silence and jungkook trying his best to calm him down, Taehyung finally spoke.
"There were so many of them running after me. I was taking the grocery out from the trolley to put them in the car and out of nowhere two three dogs came running towards me." He started talking, giving all the details not even leaving behind the minutest details.
