A sliver went down my spine I felt like I was being watched . I didn't make it obvious by scanning the room. I already knew there were a lot of people I pissed off when I married the prince.. even worse when I single handedly sabotaged the wedding ceremony.

# epic royal  wedding I pulled at my phone taking a selfie with all the pissed of faces with the crowd .uploading the photo and detailed account of the wedding  instantly uploading it  to all social media platforms .

Done .. take that Elias ! I mentally screamed as

She pulled me close and gave a brief yet detailed introduction to everyone I needed to know. Over there in the gold dress is the queen's sister and the princes's auntie,Ophelia.she may seem sweet but total backstabbing  bitch; so don't befriend her.Ophelia saluted me as I passed by I smile and returned the gesture. The girl next to her is Rachael Jack's now ex. Lover; always the hoe never the girlfriend kinda complex. Ophelia whispered something into Rachel's ear that made her even more mad.

I wound through the congested crowd spouting greetings as made my way through. I hated the attention and or the spotlight as my sisters did. The crowd was cordial but I knew that there were whispering blasphemy behind my back.

If I thought I was hated before that is nothing compared to now. I felt as if I sprouted horns and painted a big red target upon my back .

This is the honorable Lord gunner slade seryn introduced us. Usually it's protocols to bow or kiss the hand of a lady but he just nodded. Lord Slade is the princes Elliot's beta and friend- enemy. Seryn cordially excused herself to go to the bar for drinks . We were alone His dark timber color eyes bore into me as he sniffed the air. "You don't carry his scent so your fair game"

"Jerk"I countered as his smile widened as he looked in jack's direction."You the center of attention tonight bask in this moment because it won't last long ;remember he can't save you" He whispered as he placed a crumpled up note in my palm as he passed. My blood ran cold as I read the note " your next" I didn't hear seryn arrive back with drinks .

Wow what was that? I exclaimed loudly as she passed me my drink .

Wow that didn't take long ( pause) For your hubby being protective of you .. Gunner will take anything the prince's have;just to spite them. So don't fall for his charming persona and kind gestures.. it's fake

I looked in gunner's direction once again as memories of Peter danced in my mind.. players are all the same crumpling up the paper and throwing it to the ground

Before she could warn me about Maria she appeared before me . She wore an exotic short gold dress that barely covered her lady bits. beautiful Spanish girl with big doe like eyes and beautiful mane of chestnut colored curls.
"This is Maria She is Elias's girlfriend I mean current girlfriend." Seryn stated loudly but her words laced with malice.

Maria ignored seryn as she sized me up. Her eyes roamed over my form as she got closer " so your the paper wifey.. not much to ya scrawnlin  (derogatory shifter term  meaning : unable to bare pure blooded young) I can see why Elias and jack have been bitching for hours about you; Your unattractive and plain.

"Ouch like I never heard that before.. try again but this time a better insult I countered" . Maria pulled out her phone and started screaming at someone in Spanish.

Out of the corner of my eyes I noticed the kitchen door open and I gasped at the cake.
The bakers finally arrived with the most massive four tier cake I ever beheld. I was too busy staring at the confectionary perfection to see racheal's arrival.

"So this is the lager  blood "( derogatory shifter term  meaning :vile half beed or illegitimate of birth)   You made my jack leave me ".. racheal bellowed as she recoiled back and swung at me. Thanks to shifter agility I easily dodged  her advance and she fell into the the cake . The crowd gasp as the wedding cake splattered everywhere . She growled as she sat in the center of the massive four tier  wedding cake.
Grr. She huffed then threw a fit as she was head to toe covered in cake.

"Your welcome " depicted from the Disney movie Moana I said in a sing song voice.Maria helped up the now soiled best friend up .only to slip and fall sending her into the same icing mess as Rachel.

"Your dead lager blood" maria commented as she  bellowed and splashed in cake .

Seryn had to hold me back before I shifted and pounced on Maria for her comments . Elias ran to Maria's side helping her up." Traitor" I muttered under my breath as Elias wiped Maria's dress down she huffed and stormed towards the bathroom.

Maria is the mafia boss's daughter .. it's in your best Intreat to let the comments go. Word of advice: Don't do that cliche mean girl routine that you did in the bathroom. you will end up with shoes that you can't take off and your new address will be somewhere in lake Pontus . Seryn stated under her breath as I broke free from her hold.

I am tired of all this Barbie doll melodramatic bull. I'm gonna go get some fresh air. For some reason seryn paled and ran off in search of Elias.
