I struggle against his hold as he once again tapped my head but this time he hummed the same song I hummed to him all those years ago when his mom mysteriously died. At the time I didn't know I was singing the song from my heart ..now hearing it it made me wonder.,

He stopped humming and just stared at me.

This memory made me Hug him back taking in deep breaths.

Then remembered that jack is just playing me .. remember the over displays of affectionate and late nights I gripped his shirt tighter then pushed away.

Jack's P.O.V

What is going through that pretty little head of yours? I asked as she cocked her head to the side and shrugged. She had been silent but that meant imminent danger..

Nothing .. she snapped and looked away

"Baby I have something I have to admit.. " she looked at me with those "boy your in trouble" eyes . Will I scare her if I start talking about the future? Is it too soon ? We're not offically dating? In my eyes we are but she might be skidish to the notion? Grr. Too many unanswered questions swirled in my mind " Just admit that you got into carpentry is so you can  building her a pack house .. with a dojo of her very own. Not saying the hotel isn't great but with an ever growing family and the stability of the place ; it won't be stable for long.

I swiped my hands over my eyes and sighed"I will tell her once I catch the murderer and give peace to the slain Gemini pack." I muttered But sighed. Will she understand?i mentally pondered no respectable lady would want her mate to away all night but I only had one more month til the pup comes. I had to work harder to finish in time. How do I tell her that my father has given me permission to reestablish the Gemini pack ? How will she feel ? Will she still want to be with me? Even though she doesn't desire to be Luna? I sighed and rubbed my hand over his face as I blurted out "Your sister is the devil with a pretty face"

She read through the lines and seen my insecurities and vulnerability. She cupped my face " Elliot what are you not telling me?

The door flung open once again as Kyle and Danny flooded the room. They sniffed the air as they entered it smelt of our scent and sweat our mating . Thankfully they didn't utter a word but From the displeased look upon both of their faces they knew.. what we been doing for the past few weeks.

They wrapped her in a warm embrace but glaring at jack. So he is the jerk who slept with my sister and then made her cry. Baby sis how are you?

Your so thin Danny inspected as his hand hovered over her midsection and growled in my direction.. the doctor knows Awh damn ...
"let's go now". He stated through gritted teeth and with a murderous gaze . He whispered something to Kyle who tried to launch himself at me . Thankfully elsbeth simply caught kyles sleeve with weary eyes " let's go I'm starving for my fix" is all she said but not looking at me.

"But I .. obviously you and your little soilders did enough. "He took a deep breath and looked at me then at all the empty Hattie's empty doughnut boxes that towered on the end table. Elsbeth made eyes contact with me her features softened as Kyle nodded.  "If you care about her you give her space she is in a world of hurt now."He noticed my recent black eye and split lip from our wresting for play matches the day before and smirked- chuckled. "She just found out about her ex's indiscretions and dealing with other factors.word of advice slowly incorporate yourself into her life don't push, just be patient, and be there .. she will need you sooner than she expects.. I think you may be a keeper if she kept you around this long " Kyle stated.

Don't make her cry again or that will be your only child you ever sire get my drift Kyle threatened

I grabbed my duffel bag that Tomas brought and motioned to the bathroom door. Kyle silently nodded and let me go into Beth's master bathroom. " I splashed water in my face remembering what my brother had said.

I'm not giving up Beth it took me fifteen years for her to even notice me now that I finally have her attention and one day her heart. I'm not gonna let her go.. I screamed as i furiously stripped away the only clothes I had for the last month. I basked and reveled in the notion It smelt of her. I turned on the shower and let the cold spray numb away the frustration and pain.

To think that sister of hers making a pass at me and my brother right in front of Beth. I howled in anger. The door burst in and there stood my goddess holding a wooden sword scanning the room for any danger.

Calm down enchantress of the cherry blossom it's me .. I'm just frustrated .. she dropped the sword in defeat and suprisingly entered the bathroom . She hugged me from behind resting her face on my back. I turned off the spray and just held her. This is what she needed intimacy and comfort;not just sex and lust.

"Jack I seen the look on your face .. we're not together it's ok to like my sister "he voice small and faint like a scared child. " you don't have to take responsibility just because I took your innocence."

Baby I only want you .. your enough and can't you see your precious to me.I blurted out as she kissed my scared back from our love making. "Elliot .. I "

I pulled her hands from my waist and gathered her up in my towel. I cradled her against my chest as I carried her to the bed room . She just stood there as numb as I was as I stripped off the wet clothing and replaced it with dry nightgown. I pulled on my boxers then towel dried her hair . Once completely done I gathered her into my arms and tucked her into bed. I kissed her on the forehead and whispered " I love you Beth" but she was already asleep as her head hit the pillow.

I let her sleep knowing how exhausted she was I padded my way into now an empty kitchen my phone dinged with a tex

Elias: hey man Rachel is on a war path so watch your back and they just found seryn's dead.. there is a warrant for rachel's arrest .

Jack: from natural causes ?or murder ? I didn't think special forces go to the extreme when the are fired by their masters.

Elias: you don't how extreme they will go

Jack : hey find me everything you know on the family curse and how to break it. Tell Tomas to go see madam jasmine of the sovern  light coven she likes him.. see if she will help us
