The team moved through the shadows, keeping low as they entered the Legion base. Sombra activated her stealth tech, her form flickering into invisibility as she approached a nearby guard. In one swift motion, she wrapped an arm around his neck, taking him out with a silent chokehold, his body slumping to the ground without a sound.
Psylocke followed suit, moving gracefully through the dimly lit corridor. Her eyes narrowed as she focused on another unsuspecting soldier. With a flicker of purple energy, she extended her psychic powers, invading his mind. The soldier froze, a faint psionic butterfly shimmering at his forehead as his eyes grew unfocused. Moments later, he crumpled to the ground, his mind subdued before he could react. The butterfly flickered one last time before dissolving into a soft glow, leaving an eerie stillness in its wake.
They continued down the dimly lit corridors, with Sombra leading the way. She found a control panel embedded into the wall, her fingers dancing over it as purple holographic tendrils extended from her tech gloves, hacking into the system. Information began scrolling on the screen as she siphoned data, her face lit by the glow of the holographic display.
Suddenly, a Legion soldier stumbled upon them, eyes widening as he raised his weapon and shouted.
Legion Soldier: "Intruders! Sound the alarm!"
The base filled with the blare of sirens as the alarm was triggered. Sombra grimaced, muttering under her breath as the base went on high alert.
Sombra: "So much for subtlety."
Psylocke took a fighting stance, her psionic butterfly wings flaring to life as she prepared for the approaching wave of enemies.
Psylocke: "Stay sharp, everyone. We'll finish what we came here for, stealth or not."
William stepped forward, as they braced for the coming fight. The base began to flood with Legion soldiers, their weapons drawn and their faces set with determination.
William: "Guess it's time to make an impression, then."
Sombra quickly dispatched her hack, turning to face the incoming forces with a grin.
Sombra: "They won't know what hit 'em."
The team readied themselves, no longer concerned with silence as they prepared to face the Legion head-on, determined to complete their mission no matter the odds.
William summoned a cluster of chaos orbs, his hands crackling with red energy as he hurled them toward the oncoming Legion soldiers. The orbs soared through the air, connecting with each target and bursting into surges of energy, sending waves of soldiers flying backward. Each impact dispersed with a powerful force, scattering the enemies and leaving arcs of red light crackling in the aftermath. William pressed forward, his resolve unwavering as he pushed through the ranks, determined to carve a path forward for his team.
With a focused breath, William drew out his tessen, its sharp edges glowing with a fierce red aura. He extended his hand, channeling his telekinetic energy to control the bladed fan, which hovered in front of him, vibrating with raw power. With a swift motion, he launched it forward, guiding its trajectory with precise movements of his fingers.
The tessen flew through the air like a deadly boomerang, slashing through Legion soldiers as it arced and sliced in all directions. Each enemy it passed was struck down, the red aura leaving trails of light in its path. As it returned, William skillfully redirected it, steering it into a second wave of soldiers, cutting them down one by one. He kept his focus sharp, telekinetically maneuvering the tessen with graceful, fluid control, using the weapon to clear the area around him as he advanced further into the base.
