The moment I stepped out of Jimin's car and we entered the restaurant, I couldn’t help but gape at the ambiance inside.

The interior looked so fancy! The people here looked so expensive too. I felt completely out of place and super self-conscious.

Thank God I’m wearing the dress Jimin bought me last week, or else I would’ve felt like I didn’t belong here at all.

“Minjeong, stop looking around, you might get lost,” Jimin said, grabbing my hand to keep me close.

I swear, the second our hands touched, it felt like I got electrocuted.

Wait. Is this the first time we’re holding hands? Maybe that's why it feels so... weird?

Yeah, that’s probably it. Totally normal.

"Where is he?" I asked, still scanning the huge place with my eyes.

Meanwhile, Jimin’s grip on my hand was firm, like I was a little kid she needed to keep from wandering off.

"Oh, he's over there at the back, facing away from us. Let's go," Jimin said, pulling me along.

"Hey, Yeonjun!" Jimin called out as we got closer.

Yeonjun, who had been smiling at first, probably excited that Jimin actually showed up for their date, quickly frowned the moment he saw me trailing behind her.

Oh, and the fact that we were holding hands didn’t help.

“Jimin, you do know this was supposed to be our date, right? What’s that girl doing here?” Yeonjun asked, annoyed, glaring at me like I ruined his entire night.

What are you glaring at? I didn’t want to be here either I thought to myself.

“Stop looking at her like that, Yeonjun. And she has a name, okay? It’s Kim Minjeong. Isn’t it more fun to bring my girlfriend along? Don’t you think?” Jimin said with a grin, but you could totally tell she was teasing Yeonjun.

“Dates are supposed to be for two people, Jimin. It’s so random that you brought her along. I didn’t invite anyone else, so you shouldn’t either,” Yeonjun shot back, scratching his head in frustration.

“Then why didn’t you bring someone? The more, the merrier, right?” Jimin replied, and I had to hold back a laugh at how worked up Yeonjun was getting.

Honestly, why was Yeonjun still trying so hard with Jimin when it was clear Jimin had zero interest in him?

“Can Minjeong and I sit at your table?” Jimin asked, and Yeonjun just nodded reluctantly.

Jimin pinched me lightly, which made me yelp quietly. I was surprised when she suddenly leaned in close to my ear to whisper.

“Show him that you’re a gentlewoman, move the chair and let me sit down,” she said softly, but it was loud enough for me to hear.

That was all I needed to hear! Why did she have to pinch me just to get my attention? That actually hurt!

So, I did what Jimin whispered. I grabbed the chair in front of Yeonjun, pulled it back a bit, and motioned for Jimin to take a seat.

I was caught off guard when Jimin suddenly kissed me on the cheek after thanking me.

This is the second time she caught me off guard with those unexpected kisses! It was so surprising every time.

I noticed Yeonjun’s jaw immediately tightened at what he saw.

You wish that was you, huh?

“Let’s start ordering. What do you want, love?” Jimin asked, and I quickly turned my attention to the menu.
