"You're so careless! There are articles all over social media saying you're cheating on me!" Jimin snapped, and I couldn’t help but flinch at her words.

After I left the coffee shop, Jimin texted me, telling me to meet her at her car in the parking lot of their building. Now here we are, talking, but it’s obvious from the look on her face and the tone of her voice that she’s far from happy with what’s being said online.

"I'm sorry, okay? It slipped my mind, plus I didn’t even know anyone would see us or recognize me" I explained, watching as Jimin rubbed her face in frustration.

"Jimin, listen. We can just release a statement saying it’s all a misunderstanding, right? Please don’t be mad," I pleaded with her, hoping to calm her down.

"Who even is that woman?!" she asked, glaring, though she wasn’t looking directly at me.

"What?"

"You heard me, Minjeong"

"My ex," I answered straight away, and Jimin immediately turned to me.

"Oh? And? Are you planning to get back together? Did you forget we still have an agreeme—"

"Are you crazy? She’s my ex, She’s getting married, and we’re done," I explained, trying to keep my cool.

"So, if she wasn’t getting married, would you still get back with her?!" she yelled, her face scrunching up in anger.

Why is she acting like this again? She’s back to being mad and short-tempered girl.

"Do you even hear yourself, Jimin? Even if she wasn’t, I still wouldn’t. Why are you so worked up? We can fix this easily. I don’t have to explain myself every time I’m with someone. We have our own lives," I said, and she fell silent.

A few moments later, she grabbed her phone and started typing, ignoring me completely. After a few minutes, she set her phone down and started the car.

"W-wait, where are we going? What did you do?" I asked, confused.

"I posted that it was all a misunderstanding and that you're not cheating on me," Jimin said seriously.

"Then why do you still look mad?" I asked, but she didn’t respond.

I sighed deeply. Sometimes I really don’t understand this woman.

"Are you driving me home?" I asked, noticing that the road she was taking looked familiar, like it was leading to my house.

"Of course? Why? Were you planning on meeting her again?" Jimin asked bitterly, and I chuckled at her.

"You’re impossible. We have no connection anymore. We just happened to run into each other, and she thought it would be nice to have some closure" I said, shaking my head, but she still didn’t look at me, her face stuck in a pout.

This girl, really.

--------------------------------

"You really don’t have to do this, you know. You can still change your mind," I told Jimin as we stood in the car dealership, where she was about to buy me a car.

I’ve told her plenty of times that if she’s going to insist on buying me one, a second-hand car would be perfectly fine. But she just gave me this disgusted look and saying the car she’s buying isn’t just for me—it’s also to show people, like her family and Yeonjun's family, that I’m driving her around like any normal girlfriend would.

She said I needed it because the other night, her parents confronted her, saying they’re convinced I’m not serious about her and calling me a freaking cheater because of those paparazzi photos of me.

Of course, Jimin defended me, but her parents refused to listen.

So now, Jimin’s decided that, whether I like it or not, I’ll have to come over to her house every day, pick her up, and drive her to work. That way, her parents will think I’m serious about our relationship.

But honestly, I doubt it’ll change anything. The more time I spend around Jimin’s family, the more I get to know her parents, especially her dad.

And I can tell, that man will do whatever it takes to break us up.

Jimin had her eye on one car, so she immediately asked a staff member about the name and model. They told her it was a BMW 5 Series (G60) and it costs a whopping 106 million won. I could feel the hairs on my arms stand up just hearing the price.

I was about to say something, but Jimin stopped me, telling me not to complain and to get inside the car to "feel the vibe."

So, I got in and sat in the driver’s seat. The moment I settled in, the interior took my breath away. It was so sleek and luxurious—I couldn’t deny how premium it looked. Jimin hopped into the passenger seat, checking out the design for herself and soaking in the feel of the car.

“Alright, it looks good. Get out now, we’re buying this,” Jimin casually announced, making my eyes go wide, and before I could say anything, she was already getting out.

“Wait, just like that?!” I called after her.

That was fast! How does she make buying a car seem like picking out candy?

“Yes. Any problem with that? I don’t like wasting time, Minjeong” she replied, as if it was the simplest thing in the world.

And just like that, Jimin bought the car. She even told me to drive it home, since she’d be using her own car to head to work. Yes, she literally accompanied me to buy a car before heading to the office.

Of course, when I got home, my neighbors, my friend Ningning, and my mom were all shocked to see me pull up in a new car. Ningning even joked that I must’ve gotten tired of my job and decided to become a carnapper instead.

I also got a text from Jimin, and I couldn’t help but smile after reading it.

-You have a car now, so don’t forget to pick me up from home tomorrow. That’ll be our routine from now on, you’ll pick me up, we’ll go to work together, and come home together. Anyway, enjoy your new car.👍🏻
