"R-right, love?" The woman suddenly came up to me and planted a kiss on my cheek, making me flinch.

WHAT THE FUCK?!

Oh god, my face must be as red as a tomato right now.

"What? Since when, Jimin? I thought you didn't want to be in a relationship?" the guy said, sounding completely disappointed as he looked at her.

"I only said that because I didn't want to date you. I'm already taken," she nervously clung to my arm.

WHAT ON EARTH ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT?! AND WHO IS THIS GIRL?!

I'M SO FREAKING LOST RIGHT NOW.

"Tsk, you'd really settle for someone... cheap?" the guy scoffed, storming out of the office.

EXCUSE ME?! CHEAP?!

The girl beside me took a deep breath, realizing she was still clinging to my arm. She shot me a dirty look and brushed down her dress.

Why are people here so mean?! Like seriously, this is getting offensive!

"Who are you?! You can't just walk into my office like that!" she snapped, sipping tea like she owned the place.

Wait...

I frowned. Did she just say her office? So... she's the CEO?

I glanced at the nameplate on the table.

Yu Jimin
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

"Before you start scolding me, can I ask why you randomly claimed me as your girlfriend?! And you kissed me on the cheek! Do you know I could sue you for that?" I shot back, completely frustrated. She stared back at me with a completely blank expression.

"It was an excuse to get that guy to stop bugging me," she replied, sitting down in her chair and opening her laptop as if nothing happened.

"So, who are you and what do you want?" she asked without even looking up, her eyes glued to the screen.

Oh right, I came here for an interview.

Now I kind of want to back out after all this craziness. This CEO just used me as her excuse to dodge her annoying suitor.

Ugh, she's so full of herself.

I mean, okay, fine, she's really pretty, but still! UGH!

"I'm Kim Minjeong. I'm here to apply for your assistant position. I heard you were hiring," I said, feeling oddly proud that I didn't trip over my words.

She glanced at me for a second before looking back at her laptop.

This CEO is confusing me, and It's not even funny anymore!

"Get me another cup of tea," she randomly said.

"Sorry?" She sighed before looking at me again.

"Are you deaf? I said go get me tea. My tea's almost gone and it's cold. I want a new one," she replied, and I couldn't help but blink in disbelief.

Why is she telling me to get her tea? Is she out of her mind?

"Hey, miss cheap, why are you still standing there? The tea station's just outside. Hurry up!" she ordered, and I quickly rushed out to follow her command.

If she weren't the CEO, I would've slapped her by now.

When I came back with the tea, I noticed people around the office looking at me, whispering to each other.
