THIRD PERSON P.O.V:-
The wedding ceremony in Dwarka unfolded with formality, under the watchful eyes of the Yadu and Kuru clan elders. The moment had come for the bride to leave. After bidding farewell to all, she approached Dwarkadheesh for his blessings. Yet, as she began to bow, he halted her mid-gesture.
He grasped her hand, gently pulling her on her feet, and wrapped her in an embrace. It was a rare occurrence; Dwarkadheesh, known for his stoicism, now allowed tears to flow freely. Those who witnessed this were deeply moved by the sight of Dwarka's mighty sovereign weeping for his sister. "How will I manage my life without you, my Maaya?" he uttered.
"Please don't cry like this, brother; you know I'm always with you," she said, her own tears beginning to fall as she wiped his away. "You're my most precious gem, Subhadra... Do not forget me while you're busy with your new life, okay? and if, Arjun ever troubles you, you can come back anytime you want, whether it be night, morning, thunders or rain.", he replied as he smiled gently at his sister who nodded to his words. "I'll miss you," they said in unison as they released each other from the embrace.
The princess reunited with Arjun, and upon completion of the final ceremonies, they set off together. She settled into the palanquin as the prince rode by her side on his steed.
HER P.O.V:-
Peering out, she subtly parted the curtains to observe Arjun. "What has caught your eye, princess?" he inquired, aware of her focused stare. At the sound of his voice, she shifted her attention back. "It's nothing... It's just that I have a feeling we're not headed towards Hastinapur, based on the route we're taking."
"We won't be going there right away. Our first stop is Varnavrat, where my mother and two brothers are waiting for us. They were on vacation there when these unexpected events took place," he replied to her question, his eyes moving away from her face. "But if you wish, Princess, we can skip that visit and head straight to Hastinapur.," he offered.
"No, Prince, I think your first plan is better. I would like to meet your mother and brothers initially," she said, agreeing to his proposal. She then let the curtain fall shut, making herself comfortable.
HIS P.O.V:-
Arjun's posture slumped, his heart pounding against his ribcage, the persistent image of her flashing in his mind, accompanied by the echo of her voice from their last exchange. Placing a hand over his heart, he could feel the vigorous thumping as if it were trying to escape. "What is this feeling? It's completely unknown to me... I've never felt anything like it," he whispered to himself.
He casted a glance back at the palanquin, where his wife remained hidden behind the curtain. Without realizing it, he longed for another look at her, watching the palanquin intently. As he envisioned sharing moments with her, his palms grew damp with slight sweat, his breathing deepened, and his chest lifted gradually with each breath.
THIRD PERSON P.O.V:-
The caravan proceeded towards Varnavrat, where his family awaited their arrival. On the horse, Arjun could not help but glance at Subhadra, admiring her beauty as she sat in the palanquin. It was a small, enclosed space, made of silk and wood, that swayed gently with the movements of the horse pulling it. Subhadra, from inside, noticed Arjun looking at her, and found herself feeling slightly shy. Her eyes met his with the curtain as a barrier between them, and for a brief moment, they shared a small, secret smile to themselves before she once again turned her gaze out the windows looking at the other side.
