THIRD PERSON P.O.V:-
"Fine... but, you won't be seeing her face and will only get five minutes", the woman spoke after listening to Arjun plead to her to let him talk to the bride before the wedding. "But be warned, if anyone else sees you meeting her, I'm not the one helping you. Whatever you do, make sure no one finds you. I'll arrange your meet for her". she spoke to Arjun agreeing to him and putting forth conditions.
ARJUN'S P.O.V:-
"Yes, thankyou very much. I'll do as you say, just let me talk to her once before this marriage.", he spoke grateful to the woman, smiling at her.
TIME SKIP:-
The place of the bride's stay, the room was divided into two now with a thick long cloth used as a divider which was arranged by the woman and her friends.
"What is this for?", the bride-to-be spoke as she saw them dividing the room. "Its for your talk", the woman replied. "What talk? with whom?", she asked after they had dressed her in a red silky cloth with patterns of white and blue. "Just wait", the woman replied to her question. "Some one wants to talk to you badly.", the woman added before taking her friends leaving the bride to be alone in the room.
HER P.O.V:-
She sat alone on the bed, confused, thinking of who could the person wanting to talk to her in this unknown place be.
After a while or two, someone stepped in. It was a man, she could not see him, only his silhouette due to the division in the room. He walked to the bed on the other side of the division and sat down and took a deep breath, more of a sigh before speaking....
"Hey... Um... I- I am the person you're supposed to marry today", he spoke in a clueless voice, not knowing how to start the conversation. She stayed silent listening him speak and trying to figure him out. "Listen, I- I apologize... for all this..." he began, but she spoke up. "For what?"
"For this misunderstanding by the villagers, and that you have to marry me, an unknown person now", he started. "I had no idea that things would turn out like this... I thought you needed help, I saw you in the forest, laying unconscious to the river side, you were drenched... with a few bruises, I thought that the demon of the forest did that to you...", he spoke.
"Demon? no, I just accidently fell in the water... I don't even know what place is this. Its not your fault, and do demons actually exist? and how do you know about its existence?", she spoke up.
Listening to her words, he chuckled a bit amused at her thoughts," Demons exist, not many but they do... and I know about it because I killed it. This place is a village in in Varanavata, I came here because the citizens were troubled by the demon."
"Who are you to help these people? some hero? soldier? army chief?", she inquired. "No, I'm none of that. I am Arjun, just a prince, the third son of Kunti and Pandu...", he replied. "Anyways, if you don't want this marriage, I can try one last time to talk to the villagers, they think I've abducted you so, returning you will be a damage to your character." he spoke further.
"I can talk to them if you don't listen, you don't have to be forced into this, neither me... everyone has rights to decide major things in their lives...", she spoke up at his words.
"No, I can handle them, if you don't want this marriage. I won't let them do anything against your wishes-", he spoke but was interrupted by the door opening with a thud. When they looked up, a bunch of people from the village and the village head were standing there angrily....
