꧁ the sheriff station ꧂
"So this kid's the real killer?" Sherif Stilinski asked the three teens standing in stiles room."Yeah." His son answered.
"No." The older man replied.
"Yes." Stiles insisted.
"No." His father denied.
"Dad, come on. Everybody knows that the police look for ways to connect victims in a murder, okay? So all you have to do is, like, look through their transcripts and figure out which class they had in common." The buzz cut boy explained looking back at Scott and Bryce once he had finished talking.
"Yeah, except for the fact that the rave promoter Kara wasn't in Harris's class." His father proved him wrong.
"All right, okay, you're right, sorry. Then I guess they dropped the charges against him?" Stiles asked.
"No, you know what they're not dropping the charges. But that doesn't prove anything." His father answered.
"Scott do you believe this." The sheriff asked Scott who had stood there in silence next to Bryce the whole time.
"Oh." Stiles complained.
"It's really hard to explain how we know this, but you just gotta trust us. We know it's Matt." Scott tried getting Noah on board with the plan.
"Yeah, he took Harris's car, okay? Look, he knew that if a cop found tire tracks at one of the murders and that if enough of the victims were in Harris's class, that they'd arrest him." Stiles linked everything together.
"All right, fine. I'll allow the remote possibility, but give me a motive. I mean why would this kid want most of the 2006 swim team and its coach dead?" His dad said still on the fence about this whole thing.
"Isn't it obvious? Our swim team sucks. They haven't won in like six years. Okay we don't have a motive yet I mean come on does Harris?" Stiles defended.
"What do you want me to do?" He asked.
"We need to look at the evidence." Scott stated the obvious.
"Yeah, that would be in the station where I no longer work." Stilinski stated.
"Trust me, they'll let you in." Stiles tried to convince his father.
"Trust you?" The man said as if Stiles had gone mad.
"Trust...trust Scott and Bryce?" Stiles tried again.
