2 days after the mosquito incident
A metal hand knocked on the door, waiting patiently for it to open. The owner of this hand was Genos, who had come to begin his training under his new teacher, Y/N Midoriya.
Inko: (opens door) Who is-
Inko looks surprised at the sight of a mostly mechanical young man.
Genos: Good day, miss. Is Y/N Midoriya home?
Inko: Uh, yes. He is. Are you a friend or...
Genos: I am Genos, his disciple.
Inko blinked in surprise, then got confused.
Inko: Um... okay. Please come in.
Inko stepped aside, letting the teenage cyborg inside. Genos bowed to her in respect.
Genos: Thank you, miss.
Inko: You're welcome. Y/N! Your... disciple's here!
Y/N: What?
Y/N got out of his room, frowning as he recognized the cyborg.
Y/N: You really showed up. Uh...
Genos bowed before him, looking ready for anything.
Genos: It's Genos, Y/N-sensei.
Y/N: Can you not call me sensei?
Genos: Master!
Y/N: Not master either!
Izuku appeared next to him, getting dressed for his workout.
Izuku: Hey, big brother, what's (sees Genos) Oh, it's you.
Genos nodded at him, remembering him.
Genos: Hello, I am Genos. Are you my master's brother?
Izuku gave Y/N a 'really' look, then faced Genos.
Izuku: Uh, yeah. I'm Izuku Midoriya.
Genos: It is an honor to meet you.
The room was filled with awkward silence. Inko broke it by poking her head in.
Inko: Would you boys like some tea?
Timeskip
The three youngsters sat in the dining room, cups of tea in front of them.
Y/N: Go on home after your drink. I don't have time for disciples or want any.
Izuku took a sip of his tea, then realized something.
Izuku: Wait, you're fixed?
Genos nodded, responding after drinking.
Genos: Yes, my body is mostly mechanical. As long as there are parts, repairs are quick.
Y/N: You're an odd one.
Izuku was thinking as he spoke, remembering the fire Genos did during the fight with the monster.
Izuku: Genos, I have to ask.
The young cyborg looked at the younger Midoriya, getting his attention.
Izuku: All those fire attacks you did. Was that your Quirk, or just your cybernetics?
Genos looked at his hand before responding.
Genos: In a way, it's both.
Both brothers looked confused at him until he continued explaining.
Genos: My Quirk is called Ignite. Like most fire Quirks, I can shoot out flames from my body. However, mine was very weak. After a certain incident, I gained my new body, and the changes somehow increased my Quirk's strength.
