Serena's dad was deeply depressed and looking for his wife has been driving him mad. He's been searching for someone who is long gone. But he asked the other ghost if they could contact her for him. So, they made a deal. And then some other kid was asking Serena out on a date. Inuyasha picked up on this behavior and felt jealous and a bit possessive over Serena, like she belonged to him. He did in his own way bond with her on top of a lighthouse.
So, later on after talking to dad about costumes and clothes for the dance. She went upstairs and found the attic.
Serena had found a hidden room up in the attic with a bunch of boxes that had Inuyasha's name on them, so to try and help him regain his memories she put everything together. As Inuyasha finally after all his work eh had to do, so the other 3 ghost wouldn't be mad and lash out at him, but he also had other things to take care of. But he told the others not to let her Mr. Tsukino get hurt, after he left them, while they were at the bar with him.

So, let's begin where I left off at with Inuyasha came into the room.
"What is this? Asked Inuyasha" confused. "Come on inside and look around, do you recognize anything familiar? Stated Serena" trying to help jog his memory. As he looked around at everything in the room, something was coming back to him, his memories were slowly coming back.
He was started to share and explain different items in this room, and he remembered. As he found an old hand painting on the wall, which was a handprint that was molded into the clay shaped circle on the wall, he did it with Sota at a fair ground once. "My handprint, Said Inuyasha" shocked. As she smiled and looked around the room, she set up.
He turned around and shouted out I remember. Serena grinned and said from the looks of things he liked and a lot of things, but also disliked a lot of things too, according to this book that she found, Said Serena" gently.
As Inuyasha looked at the book in her hands. "That book where did you find that? Asked Inuyasha" curiously. "It was in that box over there, with a lock and key I found the key in that old jewelry box, Replied Serena" answering him.
He picked up the key and the box. "Sango, Mumbled Inuyasha" remembering names too. "Sango? Who's Sango? Asked Serena" curiously. "She was my best friend's wife, but also my friend too, she was like a sister to me, Said Inuyasha" remembering.
He picked up a photo that Serena had put into a frame. "Is that her there? Asked Serena" curiously.
"Yeah, that's them, I remember now, that Miroku, and that's Sango, and their children this photo was taken nearly over 500 years ago, but back then cameras weren't invented, so Kagome brought one over from her time, and she took this photo for me to keep, as a reminder of my past, spoke up Inuyasha" slowly remembering again.
