Ayushi woke up and felt tired due to the tournament's training and her previous match but she needed to go to school. With a whole load of tiredness she got ready for school. She may seem like a extrovert but she always quiet around people although she was also one of the class toppers she was quiet not boasting her achievements like the other rankers. Whole day she thought about the tournament as she only needed to win 2 more fights to win her first ever tournament. After school she went home and was welcomed by the same upset seemingly face of her mother. She told her that the lunch is ready and Ayushi went to freshen up for lunch after lunch she took rest and went for training. She was happy as the coach was eagerly waiting for her after seeing her progress in such a short time. She went for her usual training routine which consisted of running, stretching and weight training. After training she hit the mitts and bags and was done. The training longed 3 hours. After training during resting hours her coach told that the next match is day after tomorrow so skip school to attend the match there will be no rescheduling of matches and if she forfeits she will be kicked out of the tournament. She also told her to after this match if she wins the finals would be in 4 days so do not get injuries that won't heal within a week. Ayushi noded and went home. At home she studied for a bit and had dinner. After dinner she went to sleep.
After 2 days
The second last match was here and Ayushi was hyped up for the match. Her coach told her to not use up all her energy in being excited and save it so she could give her opponent a nice thrashing.She hears her name being called for the match and her team goes for the cage. Her opponent was taller than her and might be older too. There are still amature fighters who uses fake id to show their age 2-3 years younger in order to fight small kids and easily make up a amateur record to go pro,her opponent was one of them. Ayushi was not completely scared to see her but worried as she might loose here. Her coach held her hand and assured her to just do what they practiced height age doesn't matter of you have the guts to fight, just believe in yourself and look for openings due to her height advantage she can easily reach you with jabs but If you close distance between you and her you might get a clean blow to the liver. Ayushi noded and the officials checked for protective guards of both fighters and round 1 begins. Ayushi was quickly closing in the distance and was hitting her opponent's body to gain points but it wasn't enough because of the low damage but her opponent was reaching her easily because of the height advantage. Her punches were also hurting ayushi because of the weight difference between them. But ayushi was determined to win the match continued to close the distance. Because of the insane stamina training she was quick than her opponent and was able to dodge most attacks. Suddenly her opponent lifted her leg and went for a roundhouse kick, ayushi saw it from the corner of her eye and even blocked it but because of the weight difference between them the block was useless now she got a clean head hit and couldn't believe what happened. She quickly fall back to recover. Hopefully the headhit won't count in the points because she blocked it it was her arm which hit her head and hitting yourself don't give points to your opponent. They both went for more jabs and the round ended. Ayushi went for her corner and her coach removed her mouth guard and adviced her to wait for her opponent to do a slight mistake and then take her down. She told that her body hurts specially her head because of the roundhouse kick. Her coach and 2 other cornermen of her started massaging her legs and arms they can't do anything about the head because it would make her feel nausea. The bell rang and her coach reminded her about the plan and put her mouth guard in. Round 2 begin and both fighters started exchanging blows. Ayushi learned her opponent's patterns and waited for the moment her opponent was going to throw a massive jab but instead of avoiding it ayushi stepped into it and dodged it in the last millisecond and threw a punch to her opponent's stomach. The pain was excruciating for her opponent but she was still standing watching ayushi weave infront of her, she was bloodthirsty now. Ayushi went full on now this is what she wanted, to make her opponent angry and take advantage of her mistakes. Now she begins the real fight she avoids every punch her opponent threw and went for thigh kicks avoids again some punches and threw a kick to the liver her opponent tried throwing some kicks but due to her weight she was slower than ayushi as her opponent threw a kick ayushi evades back and when her she was landing her leg ayushi closed in the distance and 1-2 her face. She falls back again, this time her opponent again went for the explosive jab because she was angry this time ayushi didn't closed in the distance she instead went for her unstable leg her opponent falls down due to the kick to the unstable leg and ayushi went for a chokehold. As she was in middle of the chokehold her opponent did which she couldn't imagine. Ayushi was hanging on the back of her and her opponent started slamming her on the cage. The hard steel cage was hurting ayushi but she didn't let go. Now unsuccessful, her opponent decided to fall on her back as the ground would hurt ayushi and that's what happened as she slammed down back first the impact hurt ayushi's front body and back of her head. Due to the impact she had to let go. After she let go she was wide open for her opponent. Her opponent sat on her chest and started punching her face, ayushi tried to guard her face with her hands but it was too late. As she thought that the match was over the bell rang ending the round. Ayushi struggled to go to her corner as her face was bruised and blood went into her eyes. Her coach quickly wiped the blood and made her gargle to get rid of the blood in her mouth. Her coach was advising her to how to execute the next plan in between ayushi said "she's going down this time" and smiled. Ayushi was hella pissed due to the stunt her opponent performed and wanted revenge. The bell rang starting the round 3 and both fighters met at the center. Both fighters exchanged heavy blows,both had awfully bruised faces but still continued. Ayushi was outperforming her opponent in stamina and speed but her opponent was outperforming her in strength. Ayushi was tired now due to the beating and her opponent noticed it she quickly threw a strong punch to ayushi's stomach, the punch was so painful that ayushi had blood filled in her mouth. But this was not enough to take her down, her determination was clearly seen in her eyes. She got up and started charging at her opponent her opponent was pissed too that she won't go down after so many painful blows. She again attempted the explosive jab as her final attack but ayushi this time closed her distance, her opponent knew this and with the other hand threw a random punch predicting where ayushi's head would be if she closes in and hit her in the head to win but ayushi knew this would happen she quickly stopped in between and her opponent missed her final attack. Taking advantage of this ayushi went on with full barrages to her opponent's face and then seeing the opening she went for her final liver shot. Due to the liver shot's impact her opponent bent down in pain and ayushi went for a roundhouse kick as a revenge and knocked her opponent out. The referee signalled the match to be over and ayushi won the spot in the finals. Her coach and the other cornermen of her ran towards her to hold her as she was on her knees after the match was called off,they dragged her to her corner and made her sit and treated her wounds. Ayushi in a faint voice said 'see I told you she's going down' and smiled, her coach smiled too and helped her walk to the backstage doctors for treatment. After some hours her treatment was done, she had tones of bandages on her face she thought her mother is going to kill after seeing her condition. She thanked her coach and her coach offered her to drop her home as it would be hard to walk in this condition. Her coach dropped her off and she thanked her again and went into her house. Her sister saw her first and shouted at the top of her lungs. Listening to the screams her mother came out of the kitchen who was making dinner. She saw the condition of ayushi and hugged her then asked what happened how did she had so many injuries. Ayushi told that she should calm down and would explain everything at the dining table. During dinner she told everything about the match to her family and everyone cheered for her but her mother was still upset and worried. Ayushi assured her that nothing would happen to her and went to sleep. Just before she slept her parents came into the room to reassure that everything is fine and she noded both kissed her and ayushi went to sleep
