Ayushi was taken home by her parents after winning the tournament but she didn't get her prize as she was rushed to the medic due to her injuries and then straight up went home. Her condition was so worse that prize didn't matter for her she just wanted to get rid of the pain. After she reached home with her parents she just slept, her sister carried her to her bedroom. She woke up next morning all sore. She had a stomachache again but this time it were not from taking hit to the stomach and the muscles squeezing, it was from the cramps happening from the effect of the groin shots she took in the match, it was even hard to move her hands and legs. Her mother already booked a good doctor's appointment. After sometime she had the energy to move, she got out of bed and got ready, her pain was still persistent. Her mother took her to the doctor and she was the first patient there so her treatment was quick. First the doctor told her to lay down on the bed and took a check on her body. There were no signs of physical rupture on her lower abdomen but cuts on her legs and fists due to falling and punching. Then the doctor took a xray and a sonography to see if there is any internal damage but fortunately there was no internal damage just a little swelling. The doctor gave her some medicines and treated the minor wounds on the fists legs and face. They went home happily and her mother made her favourite food to celebrate the win. After sometime Ayushi's coach called her and told that she had collected her medal and certificate but to collect the prize money her guardian should have to visit to submit the bank details. She also explained everything to ayushi's mother and requested ayushi to visit the academy asap when she gets better. Later that evening ayushi went to the academy as told by her coach and was welcomed by all the people there everyone from her senior to junior cheered for her and then her coach approaches from the crowd with her gold medal and certificate and a gift hamper and announces that Ayushi is the youngest champion of their academic at the age of 9. Everybody celebrated and some seniors offered to teach her personally whenever she arrives in the academy the juniors didn't had much to say as they both were just kids but had laughs together. After the party settled down her coach called her to talk to her personally. She took ayushi to a corner where there were heavy bags around so they could hide from other. Usually this area of the gym is vacant because it is only used when seniors has their tournament and practice heavy hitting here. She hides ayushi behind a bag and hides in there too and first hugs her and says she did good and hands her her medal and certificate and the gift. Ayushi smiled and hugged her back. Her coach explains that she needs to practice more and win more tournaments to polish her skill and experience. During the conversation she notices Ayushi was holding her lower abdomen frequently and understood that she's still feeling the pain from the previous match. She holds Ayushi from her shoulds and says this is just the beginning you will get these types of hits or worse in the future it's just the start of the ladder. Ayushi then asks did you also felt this type of pain in my age? Her coach laughed a little and replied no not in this tender age of yours but when she was 14, it was a very painful experience her parents told her to leave the sport but her coach motivated her and now she's a coach here with international matches experience. Ayushi hugged her and said she's gonna be like her when she grows up. Her coach had some tears in her eyes because she never heard this from any of her students. She then drops ayushi at her home so she could get home safely.
After few days
Ayushi's most injuries were healed but her swelling and face injuries were still there. Her classmates made fun of her face because of the bandages. Some of her teachers were concerned for her as she already didn't came to school for so many days and returns with a bruised face and some teachers ignored her thinking she was from an low class family and was the troublemaker of the family that's why she got the injuries or was a hooligan. Ayushi returned from school normally smiling like sunflowers in a beautiful sunny day under the sun eating the food normally but it was just a show. She learned to hide her emotions at an early age. All those insults from her classmates and teachers were making her cry but she didn't cry she hid the pain under her smiling face and didn't complained at home too. She would just cry at night in her room when everyone was asleep she stopped playing in P.E classes with her classmates and with her sister at home. The girl was heartbroken the only thing that didn't broke her completely were the teachers who were genuinely concerned for her who treated her right asked her everyday how she was and her mother's happy face and delicious food that she made because she made her proud after winning the tournament. It was the first time she discovered what is bullying and it happened just because of her different appearance from the other kids. Schools introduced uniforms to tackle bullying based on appearance but this system failed miserably as students still face bullying just because of a slight difference between other students. One day during one class one of the teacher who hated Ayushi because of her bruised appearance was taking class suddenly she asked ayushi to answer a question. She deliberately asked a hard question which wasn't even taught in class to make her feel embarrassed that she couldn't answer. And that happened, Ayushi couldn't answer the question and the teacher called her and told her to stand in front of the class. Ayushi did as she was told and she was trembling with fear. The teacher said 'see students don't be like her study hard in life so you don't belong to a poor family like her who can't afford good clothes and stuff' and slapped her in front of everyone. Ayushi started crying she couldn't hide the embarrassment anymore and the teacher kept slapping her until she was tired. Her poor face which was already bruised opened up some partially healed wounds too. Still Ayushi didn't lost her composure and didn't cry loudly she just kept standing there and cried slowly without any noise trembling in place in fear. The teacher then told her to go to her seat and she did as she was told but didn't cry anymore, she stopped crying and attended every class like nothing even happened. As the day ended and she sat in the school bus to come home she started overthinking what would happen tomorrow if the teacher saw her again, why would someone judge her based on her looks, she didn't do anything wrong to be treated like this, should I tell about this at home? The 9 year old was thinking about ways to end her life. The wounds which reopened were bleeding a little. The bus conductor saw this and asked what happened to her face, this broke Ayushi's overthinking and she replied with a smile nothing she just fell during P.E classes. As her stop was coming close she was telling herself to fake the smile don't show any signs of sadness at any cost. She enters her house and was greeted by her mother and her sister who already came from school. She greeted them back with her forced smile and went to get changed and have lunch. At evening as usual she didn't played with her sister and just studied instead for her exam as exams were close but couldn't focus because of this incident. This left trauma in her mind. At night her father was awake because of work and heard Ayushi sobbing in middle of the night he silently approached her room and eavesdrops her. He couldn't hear anything but sobbing. He figured out something was wrong and decided to talk with her the next morning. The next morning he didn't woke up Ayushi for school, when ayushi woke up he told her to skip school and come with him in his office there are some friends waiting for her there. Ayushi's trauma strikes her again as she recalls how her friends even made her fun because of her appearance but hid it under her emotions and agreed to go to the office. She got ready and her father takes her to her office. First she was approached by the guards of the office and they asked her father who she was and her father replied she was her daughter and they greeted her as mam. Ayushi was too younger to understand the formalities and just laughs and entered the office. There she noticed many people wearing formals and men wearing a black coat and women wearing a black waistcoat. Everybody greeted her and she noded back. Then her father introduced her to all his office members turns out her father didn't work in the office he was the owner of the office and these people worked here. This was the first time she discovered her father was a lawyer. Her father took her to the second storey where there was his office. He locked the office and made her sat down on a chair and then asked what happened yesterday why she was crying and behaving strangely. First she hesitated then said everything after her father insisted. Her father couldn't believe what happened and assured her he would do something about it her exams were next week so he told her to not go to school for 2 weeks just go for exams and skip until the results come out, study at home. Ayushi noded with her watery eyes and sat with her face facing down. Her father quickly lifted up her face and said don't hide anything from your family and never put your face down be proud. After an hour ayushi was dropped off at home by her father and she started studying for her exams very sincerely.
After 1 week
Ayushi went to school for giving the exams and again was scared but recalled her father's advice and gave the exams very nicely. Every exam she gave she was sure she would get an A+ because she matched the answers she written in the exam. She stayed home until the results were announced and a P.T.M was announced by the school.
