"Here, I cooked sinigang for you since you hate tinola" the unexpected intruder sweetly announced as she place the dish in front of the redhead. This gesture alone almost melted the redhead who can not even look at the latter

"T-thank you.." The redhead gratefully whispered. Her heart was jumping in joy after knowing that the latter still knew little details about her.

Little details that always matters.

The redhead cannot explain what she was currently feeling. Her emotions were a mixture of pent up hatred, excitement, happiness and longing not to add, she was embarassed as well for clinging to the latter until the thunderstorms outside halted which lasted for almost an hour.

In fact, that didn't end up there for the redhead clung to the gorgeous intruder even after the thunderstorms had stopped. She was even grabbing the hem of the latter's shirt the whole time as the latter do her thing in the kitchen.

It was pretty unusual knowing how the redhead became cold and distant to people over time, even with her friends. Good thing the gorgeous intruder didn't seem to mind even after being so surprised at the redhead's sudden behavior and just let her be until she finally let go and calmed down

"I'm sorry pala for being here unannounced . I kind of insisted to Tita and Stacey kasi to meet you but then I found out na nagka sprain ka pala. So, ayun. I volunteered to take care of you na lang. I hope you don't mind but if you do, It's fine. I can go naman.." the older confessed, making the redhead wonder why would the latter do such thing when they're not even together nor she would still consider them as friends

For the redhead, they were now only strangers with tons of memories together

"I-It's fine. You can stay. Besides, the rain won't stop anytime soon" the redhead stated as she took glances from the window outside, cussing it inside her mind

Damn, why does it have to be rainy season now?

How was the sinigang pala? Was it too sour ba? Maalat o matabang?" the woman beside her asked with visible worries written on her face as if she was a a culinary student waiting for the chef's judgement

"I-It was perfect.." the redhead doesn't need to sugarcoat her words for the dish was honestly exceptional. She didn't even know why the latter feels nervous when both of them knows how great is she when it comes to cooking

"Talaga? Thought I'd suck. It's been almost a year since I last cooked din kasi. Anyway, thank you. I'm glad you liked it" the woman happily sighed in relief

That smile.

It has been really a while since she saw that but it clearly had the same effect on her. That smile alone can still make her heart leap a beat

"Why? Are you that busy in life that you even stopped doing what you love?" the redhead asked as she can't help herself but to wonder what the latter has been doing the past few months for her to not be able to spend time in the kitchen when she always always love doing so. The woman really loves cooking. She even bakes on a random day and hearing that she can not even do that for almost a year surprised her

"I guess I am.." the latter answered as her genuine smile turned into a fake one

The redhead had tons of question to the latter especially after witnessing how the latter's expression changed but she opted not to say anything about it. Besides, it was none of her business thinking that they're not even on a certain level where she could ask personal questions about her anymore
