Update and Announcement

Hello everyone,

Before I begin, I want to clarify that this is not me announcing that I'm discontinuing this book. In fact, it's quite the opposite. While working on the final chapters, I realized that this book had a lot of problems that had been bugging me. It was long, had bad pacing in certain parts, and I lost sight of some things that I originally wanted to do with this story.

Instead of finishing the final chapters, I've decided to revise and rework the entire story. I hope to have the entire reworked complete story of Resonance published as a separate story by the end of the year. If you're one of the few people that have stuck around, then I really want to thank you for reading this dumb mess of a story.

Here are some of the changes that I've been working on:

-Rearranged the order of certain scenes to create better pacing.
-Introduced certain characters earlier in the story than they appeared in the original (Such as Nanami and Dr. Togawa).
-Also introducing certain conflicts earlier in the story, as well as making them more impactful and clear.
-Made certain characters play larger roles in the story (Such as Lisa, Sayo, and Chiyu).
-Better divided up chapters so they aren't 10k+ words long.
-Removed and shortened certain scenes.
-Added scenes that expand on elements I wanted to develop further (more focus on Haneoka and the characters there).
-Reworked order of events so Y/N gains powers sightly earlier in the story.
-Do a much better job explaining Y/N's powers and how they work.

While there's still a lot of work to do, I'm very satisfied with how the reworked version is shaping up. I believe that the reworked version is a much better story. If you have any feedback regarding certain aspects you didn't feel like were clear or needed work, feel free to comment on this chapter.
