"We're almost here, just a little more to go". I whispered to myself, looking at the map sitting on the passenger seat. Yawning as I arrived closer to the infamous Seattle, I readjusted my posture.

For the last 2 months or so, I had been planning to move out, my full intent to discover the land of Washington though I was just a hour and some change away in Oregon.

A friend of my sister, Shelli, in Seattle offered to let me stay with her for a little while until I can find an apartment.

I knew Shelli enough to feel comfortable handing my safety to her. She had family in Oregon and my sister and I happened to stumble upon her one day at a park. I was never particularly bestest of friends with her due to the fact that I was significantly younger than Shelli and my sister but she always did treat me like I was family. A stark distance from how we were usually treated.

She made us feel at home since we had moved to Oregon from the East Coast, Washington DC, after my dad got a job transfer.

I eventually pulled in to Tumwater and stopped for some gas. I didn't have very long to go until I made it to Olympia where I had to go to; 114 Pear Street, apparently Shelli said she'd be there today.

After getting something to drink and filling my tank up, I made my way to Pear Street making sure to keep out for a lottery building.

My eyes surveyed the street I pulled into. I quickly glanced at them and spotted 114 on one of the buildings, there were two doors both were closed the only difference was that a blonde boy sat on the steps on the left side. I parked a little further down and swallowed the bubbling nervousness. Getting my coat and scarf for the cold air, I got out my car locking it and put my keys in my coat pocket.

I walked back up to still see the boy smoking and looking at the ground where he flexed his ankles side to side.

His hair cascaded down to his shoulders, it looked extreme fluffy. He had a huge beige ish jacket with orange on the inside and beat up converses. His face seemed to be carved by the goddesses.

Something out of a painting.

"Um..Hello?". I spoke out, the blonde boy snapped out whatever trance and looked at me. Confusion on his face. I walked up the first set of stairs so he could hear me better, "Is this 114?".

Dumbass..such a stupid question..

The boy looked at me and looked back on to the wall that had an obvious 114 on it and back at me and nodded. A small smirk appeared on his face.

I sighed, a wave of new anxiety coming over me as I wracked my brain for another question. "I-is Shelli here? I'm a friend of hers and she gave me this address to find her?". The boys gaze suddenly didn't hold confusion anymore, he got up and went in to the house shutting the door.
