"But I don't want to sleep in a cave! It's smelly and dirty and-"
"I don't want to sleep here either, darling!" Velma said.
"But we do need to sleep!"
"Wait, what will we do with the freak?" Amber asked.
"Well, there are some vines around here. We could easily enough tie her up."

Rabbit (Pinocchio stayed with Lee until she woke up) peeked around the stone of the cave Amber and Velma were staying.
Rabbit saw Mia tied up, fast asleep.
He gently nudged her until she started to open her eyes.
"Mia?" Rabbit asked gently.
"Yeah?" Mia asked groggily, and then saw him. "Rabbit? What are you doing here?"
"Long story, we need to get going."
He quickly untied her (Amber was not good with knots)and brought her to where Pinocchio and Lee, who was now awake, were.
"Lee?" Mia asked in disbelief.
"Mia!" Lee squealed.
"Not so loud!" Pinocchio whispered.
"We can't let them hear us!"
They found a small clearing, where they spent the rest of the night and part of the morning sleeping, and didn't hear the sounds coming closer.
