Part 5

Rabbit was the first to wake up and heard twigs cracking almost immediately.
"Pinocchio, wake up," Rabbit whispered.
"What?" Pinocchio asked, then stopped when he heard the twigs.
"Should we wake up Lee and Mia?" Rabbit asked.
"No. Let them sleep. They would freak out if they knew someone or something that could be a threat was nearby!" Pinocchio replied.
"Ok, I see your point," Rabbit said," But what are we going to do?"
"All we can do is wait."
They shook in terror for a few minutes, but did not hear anything else.
"Well, guess it was a false alarm!" Pinocchio said.
They eventually went back to sleep, but then 2 figures came over to them.
They carried 2 burlap sacks and carefully lifted Pinocchio and Rabbit in one of them, and Lee and Mia in another.
"See Mother, didn't I tell you we'd find them?"
