Dear Diary,
Looking back, I never thought my silly Grade 8 crush would turn into something real. Klyde and I are still together, and college has been a whirlwind, but through it all, we've become each other's person.
It's funny how life works. All those years, I thought he was out of my league, that I didn't stand a chance. But now, I realize that sometimes, the person you least expect to notice you could be feeling the same way all along.
Klyde told me last night that he never really understood why people always thought we couldn't be together. "You're more than enough, Elle," he said. And for the first time, I believe him.
This isn't the end-it's just the beginning.
