Lucy picked up the device once more and began to search for a particular option.

It has to be in here. This thing is so unbelievably overpowered, there's no way it can't do this.

Just as she was tempted to give up, she found it. There was a section called history. This thing could rewrite the past. Change it in whatever way Lucy wanted. She could make it so the world always thought of her as Lucy. As she scrolled through the section she made these changes in particular...

I Lucas Hart, have always been Lucy. Everyone will know that I have always been Lucy.

I Lucy Hart, am a true female at birth. I was never a man.

She sat there hovering over the submit button. Did she really want to go through with this? Perhaps she was rushing into this change.

This is crazy. I'm crazy. I can't believe I was just about to wipe my true existence. Okay, maybe just test the waters before doing anything too drastic.

As Lucy searched, she came across a timed feature.

I'll set it so that this change only lasts 3 days. That way, if I truly hate it, I'm not stuck with this new version of myself.

Alright, for the next 72 hours, Lucy Hart will be my new and improved identity.

As Lucy's eyes opened, she couldn't help but gasp at her newfound surroundings. Everything around her had changed. She was no longer in Lucas's room, but Lucy's. Every picture on the wall now supported her new looks as opposed to Lucas's. Her bed was not much more girly looking along with the rest of her room. Her once green walls were now a light pink decorated with fairy lights and modern art. It was unbelievable. Lucy got up to get a closer look at her family portrait, and sure enough, Lucy had fully replaced Lucas.

I can't believe it... I'm a girl, like an actual girl! And I always have been! This is insane!

Lucy, hardly able to contain her excitement, decided it was time to finally sleep. She had a big day the next morning. Her first day as an official woman.
