"Ahh!!" A loud scream came out from chae-rin's mouth as lady Choi pulled her ears, "Eomeoni, why are you doing this?!" She yelled. "How many times did I tell you not to hunt! Are you a man?!" Lady Choi yelled at her tired of chae-rin's mischief. "Eomeoni, it's the last time I'll do it. We are going back to Hanyang (present day Seoul) in a few days anyway" chae-rin said with a sad pout.
lady Choi let go off her ears, "Enough with the emotional blackmailing" lady Choi said folding her arms. Chae-rin huged her from the side "Love you, eomeoni" she said in a quirky tone.

"Jeoha, you shouldn't be training this hard" Eunuch Hong said concerned for sun's health. "I need to do to something to vent my anger. Archery is the only thing I can do right now" sun said shooting another arrow.
Another junior Eunuch came running to the archery range, "What happened?" Eunuch Hong asked, the eunuch whispered something to him. Eunuch Hong face turned anxious after hearing it. He went near sun,"Did something come up?" sun asked, "Not anything important but..." He hesitated for a bit.
"It's fine. Tell me, what is it?" sun assured him, "Special court lady shin is pregnant" he said with a voice of guilt, his head was down. "Again" sun said in a calm yet sad voice. "Jeoha, are you okay?" hyun-sik asked, his covered in worry. "Jeoha, please do not be upset" Eunuch Hong said worried, "I fine, Iam used to it" he said ready to shoot another arrow.
"Jeoha-" Eunuch Hong was about to say something but hyun-sik stopped him by grabbing his shoulder, "Let's leave Jeoha alone for now" he said. They stood a bit far from sun, "I think jeosangjheoha vowed to have ten childrens before Seja-jeoha get's married" eunuch Hong mocked.
"I don't think that's going to happen" hyun-sik said, he was talking to eunuch Hong but his eyes was on sun. "Why do you think that?" eunuch Hong asked confused, "I guess you didn't know, Daebi-mama (Her highness the queen mother) is pushing Jungjeonmama to impose the marriage ban. It's seems we will have an delightful occasion soon" hyun-sik said before heading towards sun before he breaks the target board.

Ja-yeon and chae-rin were silently walking by the beach, "It's the last time we take a stroll here" chae-rin sighed in sadness. Soon she saw a few kids playing on the sand, she ran towards them and sat down, "Kids, remember me?" She asked them excitedly.
"Ofcourse we do, you're the ghost seeing older sister" one of the kids said, chae-rin smiled, "So you do remember me". "But, eonni(older sister for girls) don't you get scared when you ghosts?" A little girl asked, "Ofcourse I get scared but not always. You see, when I come across a bad ghost, they are super scary like a demon. But when I come across a good ghost, they are super pretty just like you" she said bopping the girl nose, "Wow, so cool!" The kids exclaimed, "Isn't that right" chae-rin said giggling.

Sun slowly bowed his head to his elders, "Jeoha, what are your thoughts on having another younger sibling?" Special court lady now consort shin asked sun as he sat down. "I am very delighted" sun said trying show a smile. "I am glad you think that way" consort shin said smiling.
"Since everyone is gathered there, I would like to say something" the queen mother said diverting everyones attention to her. "What is it eomamama?" the king asked her.
"As we all know, its already been five years since the formal king passed away and seja is also of marriageable age. I think it is only right that we announce the selection process. Don't you also think that way Jungjeon(queen)?" The queen mother asked. The queen went anxious considering her son had still not moved on from his late wife.
"I agree, he must get married now" the king chimed in, "Please start arranging for the selection, I'll tell the officials to impose the marriage ban" the king added. "If you say so" the queen lowered her head trying not to show her displeased expression.
"Seja, do you have any problem with it?" King Yi Yul asked sun, "Ofcourse not, abbamama" sun replied politely but inside he was enraged.

Chae-rin opened the window to her palanquin and peaked outside, "Why are so many people crowded infront of that wall? It's rare to see so many people in Hanyang together" chae-rin though herself curiously. "Stop the palanquin" she said to the people carrying the litter.
The men's halted their steps causing both the littles to stop moving, chae-rin quickly came out followed by ja-yeon, "What happened? Why did you tell them to stop?" she asked but rather than answering, chae-rin dragged her towards the crowd.
As the went near the wall, they saw a announcement paper sticking on there. "The selection process is decided, all young girls of marriageable age are forbidden from marrying" they slowly read.
"Seja-jeoha is finally getting married" ja-yeon said excitedly but chae-rin smile faded. "Why do you look like that? What happened?" Ja-yeon asked seeing chae-rin worried face, "Eonni, selection process means either one of us will be a candidate for the selection" chae-rin said in a low voice.
Ja-yeon's face went pale as she realized, "No way, I don't wanna be stuck in that palace forever" she said panicked. "Eonni, don't worry. Our family is huge, they send the one that actually want to become the crown princess" chae-rin said trying to reassure her.
"Chae-rin, all the girls in family other than us are already married off. We are the only ones that are still unmarried" ja-yeon reminded her. "What?!!" chae-rin screamed in terror shocking everyone around them. Ja-yeon looked at her with guilty eyes.

"Jungjeonmama, I am back from debi-mama's quarter" senior court lady Yoon said from outside the quarter. "Come in" the queen ordered her, lady Yoon came in and placed a few sheets of paper on the table infront of her.
"These are the documents of the girls Daebi-mama want for the crown princess's position" lady Yoon explained. The queen slowly started to read the document. As she flipped through the Page's, one document caught her eyes.
"Min ja-yeon. Isn't she from Yeohang min clan?" She asked lady Yoon, "That is right" she replied politely. "I heard she is well mannered and polite, she might a good choice. What do you think?" She asked lady Yoon, "I also agree". She stared at the paper for a while, "I should probably met my maybe soon to be daughter-in-law " she said with a cunning smile looking at lady Yoon.

"Who dared to rearrange my quarter without my permission?!!" Sun yelled, he voice could be heard from outside of Donggungjeon (The crown prince's living quarter). The young cleaning maid of his quarter was terrified of what might happen to her.
The girl got down to the floor for forgiveness as sun jolted out of his room. The young girl face was red from crying. Seeing sun Eunuch Hong and lady Kang, sun's main senior court lady went towards him to calm him.
"Jeoha, this child just started working here today. She doesn't know any better, please forgive her" lady Kang said trying to calm him down. Sun look at the girl about to say something, but the girls teary face stopped him.
"How old are you?" Sun asked the girl in Stern yet soft voice, "11 years old, Jeoha" she replied anxiously. "Don't touch any of my belongings without my permission from now on, got that" sun ordered, "Thanks you for your kindness, Jeoha" girl showed her gratitude.

"Agasshi (young lady), when are we going home, I am tired" chae-rin's handmaiden, Da-in whined to chae-rin who was skipping stones in the lake. "Stop complaining and think of a way to retrieve the ball" chae-rin said to her.
Just a few minutes ago while playing ball throwing with the peasant kids, chae-rin had accidentally hit the ball to hard which caused to end up in noble man's house. Now they were anxiously thinking of ways to get the ball without being scolded by the family.
"I am this countrys future king, how can you tell me to sneak into a noble household?!" Chae-rin heard a voice whispering behind the bushes. Although she couldn't properly heard, she cautiously went near the voice.
As she was about to check the bushes a Young Man popped out of there causes her to be startled, making her fall back. Just as she was about to fall, the man wrapped his hand around her waist. Their eyes locked as they both examed each others face. Chae-rin got butterflys in her stomach as she felt the man's gaze on her.
