Right now, chae-rin was infront of the queen dowager and the queen. She was here to give her greetings, wearing a light pink wonsam and the heavy headpiece required her two helpers to bow down making sure her neck won't break off. Still she was struggling to manage the heavy headpiece, the queen dowager scoffed seeing her, "Princess, you're struggling to manage that little headpiece, what will do when you wear daesu" she mocked chae-rin. "I apologize, Your royal highness" chae-rin apologized tears forming in her eyes but tried not to show by lowering her head.

For the past two days, chae-rin had been miserable. She missed her family, ja-yeon and even the servents at her house. And on top of that she was given over 30 books to complete reading within a week. "Your royal highness, crown princess is still not used to this. I'm sure she'll get used to it soon" the queen said trying to de-escalate the situation. "Queen, you are the queen and also the regent queen. You would know better than me on how to train the crown princess" the queen dowager said sending a sharp look towards the queen which was almost like a glare. Tension filled the air.

Chae-rin stomped her feet as she went towards her room. Not long after sitting on mattress she heard an announcement, "Your highness, I've arrived with your head court lady" the voice of the queen's head court lady was heard, "Come in" chae-rin gave her the permission to enter. She saw lady Yoon come in with a another court lady following her, the court lady felt familiar, looking at her a bit more closely chae-rin realized this was the same court lady she bumped into that day. The court lady also recognized her and passed her warm smile which chae-rin couldn't return. "Your highness, this is court lady Choi. She'll be your main retrainer from today" lady Yoon explained, "Alright, you can leave now" chae-rin said barely holding back tears.

Lady Yoon bowed to her before walking out, as soon as she left chae-rin burst into tears, seeing her cry made both lady Yoon and Da-in worried. "Your highness, why are crying? Did something displease you? I'll immediately get it fixed" lady Choi said trying to stop her from crying, "Your highness, please do not cry. You'll also make me cry" Da-in hugged her from the side. "My life is miserable. I got selected as the crown princess which I didn't even want, I can't meet my family until I'm officially married and worst of all, I don't even know what my husband looks like!" Chae-rin barely managed to speak through tears, she sobbed harder causing her to choke on her tears.

"So, this was the case" lady Choi sighed pulling chae-rin into a hug, "Mama, I know this is hard but this is your destiny and you have to go through it. I've heard countless stories of royal brides not wanting to get married because of situation like this" she said patting chae-rin's back gently, "The late grand heiress consort was also like this but when she got married, she and his royal highness were inseparable. Although her life ended in tragedy, she loved his royal highness I'm sure you'll also feel that way. You never know what might happen, it may turn out better than you expected or worse than you expected" she added.

Chae-rin looked at her with a frown on her face, "What kind of a supporter are you, you're making me more scared then I was before" this made lady Choi and Da-in chuckle, "I extremely sorry" lady Choi said smiling. For the next one month, chae-rin's family kept sending letters to her, she also got many letters from min-jeong, her wedding to the crown prince was only a few days away. One day, she got a letter from her family.

"Your highness! You have a new letter!" da-in exclaimed while running towards chae-rin with letter in her hand, chae-rin quickly took hold off the letter and opened it. She gasped when she read the letter, "What does say?" Da-in asked curious, "It's says ja-yeon is getting married in four days" chae-rin reveal prompting da-in to put her hand over her mouth in shock. "I can't miss this, I have to be present the wedding" chae-rin mumbled, "But how? You aren't allowed to go out" da-in asked, chae-rin wasn't allowed to go outside the palace until she was married, then howcould she go out. "Tell lady Choi to arrange a audience with the king" chae-rin said before shifting her focus back to the bundle of books infront of her.
