                    Mina POV

Walking together, hand in hand, along the quiet streets of Daegu. The evening air was cool, carrying with it the scent of spring. The sun had just dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow across the sky. We were smiling, our laughter filling the air like music. Everything felt right.

Taehyung turned to me, his eyes soft, his fingers gently caressing my cheek. His touch sent shivers down my spine.

"You’re so beautiful, my Mina," he whispered, his voice tender, as if he were confessing the deepest truth.

I felt the familiar heat rise to my cheeks, blushing under his loving gaze. He smiled at my reaction, and for a moment, I felt safe—like nothing could ever break us.

"You know I love you, right?" His eyes held mine, filled with warmth and certainty.

I nodded, unable to find the words.

"Good," he said, his lips curving into that smile I adored so much.

"Don’t forget that." He gently let go of my cheek and began to turn away, the warmth of his touch fading with him.

A strange sense of panic gripped me as I watched him walk away.

"Wait, Tae! Where are you going?" I called after him, my voice trembling.

He turned back once, offering me one last smile, but his steps didn’t stop. They carried him further and further away. I tried to move, but my feet were frozen to the ground, rooted in place.

"Taehyung!" I shouted, desperation clawing at my throat.

But he never looked back.

And then... he was gone.

I jolted awake, gasping for air, my chest aching like I had just lived through a nightmare. My heart pounded erratically as I sat up, clutching the blankets around me. What was that dream? Why did it feel so real?

My hands trembled as I wiped away the cold sweat from my forehead. Something felt wrong—terribly wrong.

Before I could make sense of my racing thoughts, my phone buzzed on the nightstand, the sharp sound slicing through the tense silence. The screen lit up with a number I didn’t recognize. My heart raced faster as dread curled in my stomach. I didn’t know why, but I could already feel it, something bad had happened.

With shaky hands, I answered the call. "Hello?" My voice came out weak, barely audible.

"Mina, it’s Jisoo... Where are you?" The voice was urgent, strained with emotion. Jisoo? Why was she calling me this late? Taehyung’s brother’s wife never called me before—not like this.

"Jisoo, what’s wrong?" I asked, the knot in my stomach tightening.

There was a pause, and then her voice broke. "It’s Taehyung... he’s had an accident. It’s bad, Mina. Really bad."

The phone slipped from my hand, crashing onto the floor, but I barely noticed. Her words echoed in my mind, loud and unbearable.

Taehyung... an accident?

I couldn’t breathe. My heart felt like it had stopped, paralyzed by the shock that hit me like a wrecking ball. My mind was spinning, unable to grasp the full weight of what I had just heard.

Taehyung... my Taehyung...

I was losing him.

Again.
