11) I won't let you fall

*Zoya's POV*

I ran towards Aliya who was having a nightmare "Aliya , Aliya" I called her holding and jerking her shoulders to wake her up , she finally opened her eyes , tears were continuously flowing from them "it's ok , it's fine nothing would happen to you Aliya it's me" I consoled her holding her face in my hands .

She was not able to breathe , Ayan entered the room and came running to her right side , "Aliya, Aliya listen , calm down and take long breaths" I said still holding her face . "Ayan ,get her inhaler" I said to Ayan "She doesn't have any breathing problems and she doesn't use an inhaler" he said kinda shocking me.

"That's not possible" I replied and started asking Aliya "Aliya , tell me where is your inhaler?" She slowly pointed towards her cupboard while taking heavy breaths . I rushed towards the cupboard after a few seconds I found the inhaler in her drawer.

"I got it , here take it" I forwarded her the inhaler and she used it. After a minute she finally got better , then all of a sudden she unexpectedly hugged me which shocked me. I rubbed her back for a while and she broke the hug.

"Thank you" she said with teary eyes "No you don't need to thank me it's completely ok" I said and got up from the bed.

"By the way sorry for the mess , I was trying to find the inhaler in a hurry and messed up your room" I said in a low voice."No that's fine" she replied gratefully and I left the room.

*Ayan's POV*

I was thinking about everything that happened in Aliya's room earlier when suddenly Aliya got me out of my thoughts "Bhai!! Chalen? (Bro should we leave?) I looked at her and nodded and we left for the hospital.

"Aliya" I called her "Ji Bhai" she replied hesitantly "A-h Since w-when do you have this breathing problem?" I asked nervous about saying something that could trigger her "Bhai actually, ah-it has been happening since-ah since you know.." she said giving me a hint and then stopped.

My grip on the steering tightened thinking about what kind of brother I am who can't even make his sister feel better and forget her past. My knuckles got white because of my grip on the steering "Bhai it's not your fault" she said seeing my condition but I didn't have the courage to reply her.

*At the hospital 1pm*

The doctor came out "the patient has gained consciousness , you can meet him but remember ,try not to give him any sort of tension and only 2 people are allowed inside at once" he instructed and left.

Aliya hugged me happily "Thank God baba is fine", "Let's go meet baba" I said and we entered the room. As soon as Aliya saw baba she ran towards him held his hand "baba are you fine? " She asked confirming about baba's condition from him.

"I'm fine my princess" he said kissing the back of her hand. "Ayaannn" baba said in a low whisper "Yes Baba I'm right here" I sat to his right side and we 3 had a little conversation.

"Mom was really worried about you, the weather conditions are not really good there that's why it would take sometime for them to come here" I informed baba. "Ayan! Where is Zoyaaa?" Baba asked worriedly.

"A-a she'll meet you after your checkup , only two people are allowed at once na" I lied determined to not make baba tensed about anything "Don't worry she hasn't gone anywhere" I said making him take a sigh of relief.

"See the nurse has also come , you get your check up done than I'll come inside with Zoya ok!?" I said and he nodded. We came out of the room "But Bhai Zoya has not come with us!" Aliya said tensely "I'm going home to get her just handle the situation till then" I replied to her and rushed outside the hospital.

I entered the house and directly went towards Bua's room because I knew she would be here before I could knock the door I heard her voice.

"I didn't decide to go just like that, He likes someone else!!" She said making me shock so I stood there to hear what she was saying "the day I came here , I was in his room my foot was injured , suddenly his phone started ringing but he wasn't in the room". She said making me interested in the talk.

"I didn't pick it at first but he wasn't coming back to the room and the phone was ringing again and again so I took it to check if it was important or something but.." I was standing at the door hearing her telling the whole scenario to Bua.

"But what?" Bua asked her "Hi-his phone was ringing from some JAAN's call , that's when I realized he likes someone else. And I said all that because I thought he loves someone else and Bua I really don't want to be the obstacle in someone's love life" she said to her Bua and a loud chuckle left my mouth.

When Bua opened the door to check I immediately held my phone and pretended to end a call . "Ah Bua is Zoya there?" I asked pretending to have not heard anything she said "yes she is inside" Bua replied looking at me with suspicion.

She appeared from behind and before she could say anything I went closer to her "We need to go to the hospital now" I said and picked her up in my arms to take her to the car faster. Startled by my sudden action a cry left her mouth and instinctively she wrapped her hands around my neck.

"Ahh , what are you doing?" She said burying her face in the crook of my neck "you can't walk fast so I'm taking you to the car in my arms" I replied walking fast her hot breathes against my neck were doing something to me "Don't be scared I won't let you fall" I said to her and her breath stopped for a moment.

I let her down in front of the car door and opened it for her "Sit" I ordered and she silently followed by sitting inside . I took the driving seat and left for the hospital.
