Hey readers!

I just wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts about Abhimanyu's decision to leave Roohi. Honestly, I'm just as disappointed as many of you. It's frustrating to see him choose to be there for people who only saw him as a backup option instead of the devoted father Roohi truly needs.

This chapter is dedicated to all of us who wished Abhimanyu had chosen Roohi. Let's explore the emotions and perspectives of those who believed he should have stood by her side.

If you have any other storylines or tracks you think I should explore, I'm all ears! Happy reading!

The Goenka mansion was eerily silent, the weight of Arohi's death casting a shadow over every corner. In the living room, the family sat in stunned silence, broken only by Akshara's soft sobs. Manish Goenka's face was hardened, his eyes filled with pain and anger as he looked at his daughter.

"Akshara, you've done enough damage," Manish's voice cracked with emotion. "First, you broke this family with your decisions, and now Arohi... she's gone. Because of you."

Akshara raised her tear-stained face, her heart breaking with every word. "Bade papa, please... it wasn't intentional. It was a mistake, an accident-"

"An accident that cost my daughter her life!" Swarna's voice rang through the room. The anguish in her words was palpable. "You've done too much harm, Akshara. It's time for you to leave. For the sake of this family."

Akshara's heart shattered at the finality in their voices. She turned toward Abhir, her son, her last hope. He clung to her side, his young face filled with confusion and hurt. But his next words caught everyone off guard.

"Docman..." Abhir whispered, looking at Abhimanyu, standing across the room. "Come with us, please."

Abhimanyu felt his breath catch. He looked at Abhir, the son he once shared with Akshara, the child who called him "Docman" with so much love. Abhir's wide, pleading eyes were so much like Akshara's-it tore him apart. But in that moment, another thought gripped his heart.

Roohi, his rooh..

She was upstairs, unaware of the storm that had just hit their lives. Roohi, Arohi's daughter, his daughter. The little girl who had clung to him ever since Arohi's death, who called him "Poppy" with such warmth and affection. Roohi, who had been his light in the darkness after Akshara left his life all those years ago. The little girl who had stood by him when everything else fell apart.

Abhimanyu's thoughts raced. He couldn't just walk away. Roohi needed him more than ever. She had lost her mother, and now... could he even think of leaving her alone? Abhimanyu had always been her safe place, just like Arohi.

"Abhir, I..." Abhimanyu began, but he hesitated. He had loved Abhir from the moment he knew he was his son, but the truth was stark in his heart-Abhir had never truly been his. He had always been Akshara's son first, and now with Akshara expecting another child with Abhinav, Abhimanyu knew where he stood.

For Akshara and Abhir, he had always been an option-a fallback when things went wrong. Abhir came to him only when it was convenient, only when his "Docman" was needed. And while that love was real, it was fleeting. A mere glimpse into a life he could never fully have.

But Rooh... Rooh had never seen him as an option. For Roohi, Abhimanyu was her everything, just like Arohi had been. Roohi had never left his side, even when everything around him was collapsing. She had lost her matashree, but she had him. How could he abandon her now? Roohi deserved the love, the attention, the care that Abhimanyu had given her all these years.

"Docman?" Abhir's voice broke through his thoughts again, more insistent this time.

Abhimanyu knelt before the boy, looking deep into his eyes. "Abhir... you'll always have a special place in my heart. But Roohi... Roohi needs me right now. Just like you needed your mumma. I can't leave her."

Abhir's face fell, his lips trembling as he processed the words. Akshara, standing behind her son, felt the familiar ache of losing Abhimanyu all over again. It was a wound that never truly healed, but now, she understood. Roohi was Abhimanyu's priority, just as Abhir had been hers.

"Abhimanyu, we can figure this out. We can-" Akshara started, but he cut her off, his voice steady but laced with emotion.

"No, Akshara. You've made your choices, and I've made mine. Roohi... she's my responsibility, just like Abhir is yours. I won't abandon her."

Tears welled up in Akshara's eyes as she nodded, understanding that they were standing on opposite sides once again. They had shared love, pain, and memories, but their paths had diverged long ago. And this time, there was no turning back.

Abhimanyu stood, taking a deep breath as he glanced at Akshara one last time. "Take care of him," he said softly, referring to Abhir. "Be the mother he needs."

With that, he turned and walked toward the stairs, his heart heavy but resolute. Roohi needed him now more than ever, and he would be there for her in the way he had never been for Abhir. As much as he loved Abhir, it was clear now-his son saw him only as a fleeting presence, a backup.

But Roohi had always known better. Roohi had always been his light, even in the darkest of times. And for her, Abhimanyu would always be there.
