Fate can be such a funny thing, you could think your past would play a part in the future ahead, fate is such a funny thing.

It was a quiet Autumn afternoon before Dazai's industry manager came and handed him a commission paper

"Ranpo wants to find an artist to create the poster for the new film"
The silver haired man stated as Dazai took the papers and scanned through each word of the commission

"I thought we had an artist on hand?"
Dazai thoughtfully remembered having one on hand for these type of things. The director came to the area, munching and crunching as per usual

"Ah Ranpo, what about our on hand artist-"

"Retired"
A blunt and quick answer, as per usual when something involved the movie.

Dazai just nodded as he looked at the commission paper again, he was reviewing it again before Ranpo cut him out of his thoughts

"Oh take this card, I heard he's a pretty well known artist in Yokohama. Go by and see if he's willing to do it"
Ranpo mumbled through a lolly. Dazai didn't bother to read the whole card he just read the address to know where the hell he was going.

"Alright fine I'll head over, you owe me now"

Ranpo just nodded as he walked off to another room, probably checking on the scripts being printed or to hoard the snacks in the break room. Dazai grabbed his coat before he drove to said address. Soon coming upon a commercial building and going to the front desk, seeing how the inside of the building was. Clean and pretty sleek, seemed like who was under this arts building was a pretty polished.

"Hello uhm do you know where office 206 is?"

The lady looked up and nodded as she typed a few things down on the keyboard, clicking and clacking away

"Oh of course, Mr. Nakahara's office is on the second floor last door to the left. One of the studio rooms"

Dazai's attention peaked at the mention of Nakahara. He hasn't heard that surname since highschool with his ex highschool sweetheart. He just assumed there were a different set of Nakaharas, hell I mean unrelated people have the same last names all the time. Dazai just thanked the woman before he took the elevator and followed the directions given to him. Dazai creeped the door open as the walls looking to the streets lined the walls with the autumn sunshine peeped through the trees and into the studio which had pained and semi finished canvases around the room as curtains were pinned to show the windows. He tuned past a canvas and saw a peek of ginger hair tied back making the waves in the familiar shade prominent. Instantly he recognized who that was.

"Chuuya?"

The man looked back as he moved a headphone off his ear and lowered the brush in his hand, looking back with gem azure eyes that Dazai knew all too well. The voice rang through the ginger's ears and his brows furrowed.

"Dazai?"
