CHAPTER 14

A A R U S H I

At Midnight,

"Aaaaaouchhh!" He groaned for the 5th time lying on the floor. I kicked him out of the bed. I did exactly the same on our wedding night. It was fun. Yes I'm doing this intentionally. Kyuki mujhe maza aata hai no questions asked.

"Firse aatma aa gayi kya? " He muttered holding his back while glancing at me. I quickly closed my eyes as if in deep slumber.

"Yaha sona haani kaarakh hai!" He hissed at his back pain and strolled towards the couch. Zoe was wide awake staring at him. I want to laugh so badly but....

[Sleeping here is dangerous]

"Zoe, can you leave this couch I want to complete my sleep" he says innocently as if he wasn't the one who made her sleep on the couch. Taste your own medicine now!

My baby narrowed her eyes at him and shook her head. Oh my God I'm almost on the verge of bursting out laughing.

"Please zoe--"

She didn't listen and laid on the couch again before closing her eyes and disregarded his request.

"Now where should I sleep?" He huffed looking around. After a few minutes, I tilt my head and try to look at him secretly. He was sleeping on the hammock chair on the balcony. I pressed my lips to suppress my laugh.

Ab maza aaya na?

[Now did you enjoy it]

Proud of myself. What an idea of kicking him off from his own bed. I laid back with a grin on my face and slept again.

Author's Pov

Next morning,

Rajveer got up from the chair. His back pain became worse than yesterday. He has an important meeting with the foreign clients and has to reach the office early today. He headed towards the bathroom but before he could open the door, she popped in front of him holding the door's knob.

He raised his eyebrow. "What?"

"I'll shower first!" she declared.

"I have a meeting-"

She interrupted. "Me too"

"It's important"

"Mine too"

"I woke up first!"

"That's not my problem"

"You shouldn't have woken up before me?"

She sneezed at his face. "Then you'll handle my running nose because I might catch a cold by doing so"

He shook his head in disbelief. "Devi you can enter the bathroom I don't have any problem" he gave her a lip tight smile.

"I was saying the same thing. Good that you understood" she said and stepped inside the bathroom but before she could close the door he reached out and held it in the middle making her frown. He steps inside the bathroom too making her eyes wide.

"Let's take a shower together as we both are getting late" he leaned near her. "Also it will save time and water at the same time"

"No hell way!!!" she yelled. "Get out now!!"

"I'm not moving from here!" He crossed his arms, smirking.

"Bohot chalaak ban rahe ho!"

[Becoming very clever]

"Tum se hi seekha hai, sweetheart" he replied with an innocent face.

She huffed and got out of the bathroom. "Try to come out fast"
