Chapter 5 ~♧

Keith's pov

I was tending to Shiro's wounds as the rest chatted amongst themselves. I barely knew their names, only knowing Lance since he said it so much. I mentally roll my eyes. I continued to tend to Shiro, making sure he didn't die for real this time.

(Y/N) POV

Pidge has been catching you up with all that's just happened, and it all makes sense now. All this is happening because of something called Voltron. The only thing is— "What IS Voltron?!" You asked before Pidge interrupted you, "probably aliens." "Aliens aren't real," Lance chimed in. Pidge looked like he was gonna slap Lance.
"Guys, just chill out." You tried to make peace between them as they clashed opinions. They kept on arguing and somehow dragged Hunk into this, who was really confused about it all.

You decided you just walk away from them, and they're arguing. You step outside for a bit to get some peace and quiet from it all. The night was quite eventful (and was just gonna get worse). You looked at the sky again, with your hands in your pockets, like you did before the whole Shiro thing happened.  You rubbed your eyes and yawned, almost forgetting how tired you are. You debate on going back inside to just pass out on the couch for a little while.

Soon, the front door opened, and Keith came out. He looked a bit surprised you were outside. "Hey, you should come inside. There are lots of animals out here," Keith mentioned to you. You quickly look around before going inside.

Lance and Pidge had stopped arguing a while back, and they were just talking about Pidge's girlfriend. "Wait, what?" You asked, confused about it. "She is not my girlfriend!" Pidge said as he snatched the picture back, irritated. You don't say anything since you don't want to anger him further.

You sat on the couch and just relaxed a bit as they moved away from the topic and to the topic of whatever voltron was. Keith, Pidge, and Hunk were talking about radio waves, and such as your eyes trailed over to Shiro as his eyes fluttered open. You looked up at the others with a small smile, "Guys! I think  Shiro is waking up!"
