You all crowded around Shiro as he opened his eyes. Keith looked relieved as he helped Shiro sit up. Shiro appeared a little confused as he looked around, asking, "Where am I? Keith?" Keith smiled slightly, "You're safe, I rescued you-" Lance interrupted, "You mean WE?" You rolled your eyes as Lance continued, "I helped save Shiro, too." Keith scoffed. "You were no help at all, Lance. You just made it harder." Annoyed, Lance shot Keith a glance but made no further comment. You sank back onto the couch and gazed at the map while listening to everyone talk amongst themselves. You were exhausted from all the events of the night involving Shiro and whatever Voltron was, aliens or not. Soon, the voices faded into an incoherent blur as you slowly fell asleep on the couch.

**Keith's POV**

As we discussed the day-or night, I should say-I quickly picked up on everyone's names thanks to Lance's loudness. I noticed (Y/N) in the corner of my eye, falling asleep on the couch. A soft smile appeared on my face, one I didn't know I had. I was soon snapped out of my trance by Shiro speaking to me. I turned to listen as he said, "We should all hit the sack. It's late, and we need energy to look for that energy source." Oh right, I almost forgot about that... We found an unknown energy source in the Rocky Mountains, not too far away. I nodded and glanced back at (Y/N). "It looks like she already passed out," I commented, motioning toward her sleeping form. Shiro chuckled softly upon seeing her.

Soon, everyone found a spot to lay their heads for the night. It was cramped, but it worked. I offered my bed to Shiro, but he kept declining. "Shiro, just take my bed. You've been through a lot lately," I urged. Shiro sighed, "Keith, I'm fine, trust me. You sleep in your bed; I can find somewhere on the floor." I crossed my arms with an annoyed expression. "You're NOT sleeping on the floor." Some people started to stir as I spoke louder, prompting Shiro to shush me, so I lowered my voice. "Like I said, you're not sleeping on the floor; Lance can sleep on the floor." My eyes drifted to (Y/N), who looked cold without a blanket. Shiro noticed and smiled slightly. "She looks cold."

I shot Shiro a mildly annoyed glance. "She is fine." I looked at her again, my gaze softening slightly. Shiro went off to find a place to lay his head for the night. I glanced at my clock; it was almost 1 a.m., and I sighed. Looking back at (Y/N), I grabbed one of my warm blankets and tucked her in before retreating to my room to rest on my nearly bare bed. I had given all my other blankets and my pillow to Shiro. I laid my head down and soon drifted off to sleep.
