A.N: Don't question the picture at the top, I just like "The Greatest Showman"... 870 words. And thanks to AriaAshtri113 for inspiring me to write this!!

It had been days of crying for Oralie.

Kenric's death had happened so fast and had gone so quick she didn't have time to process it.

She just cried.

And cried.

And cried.

So now here she was, walking along the path to the Wanderling Woods. She glanced up at the archway,

"Those who wander are not lost..." She mumbled this to herself, needing some sort of mental stability.

When she got to Kenric's wanderling, she sat down and started weeping all over again.

"Why oh why, Kenric!" She cried to the tree, "you could've ran, you could've hid! But now you're gone! And I have to survive without you!" She turned into to a sobbing mess. Her eyes crossed.

"Oralie? Is that you?" Said a voice from the gateway.

She looked up, "Dumbledore???"

"I beg your pardon?" The voice asked

Oralie's eyes focused on the woman in front of her. "Li-Liora!" She said through hiccups, " I'm so s-sorry. Human b-b-book I've been reading!" Oralie mentally slapped herself for mistaking Liora's blonde highlights for silvery hair. She was now hiccuping again. Good Lord she was a mess, wasn't she? And in front of one of her fellow councilors!

"It's ok, Ali! But are you?" Liora asked, clearly concerned.

"Its ok, I'm fi-" she couldn't lie to her best friend.

"No, I'm not." She whispered this part, even though nobody but Liora would hear. It wasn't that she didn't want to admit defeat. It was so nobody would hear her admit defeat over such a silly thing.

But it wasn't silly.

Not for her.

Not for anyone she knew.

Yet some people still thought it ridiculous to cry over.

All of the mental rage and anger from the back of her mind piled up and boiled over.

She'd had enough.

Enough pretending she was fine.

Enough acting as if his death wasn't in the way of anything that was going to happen.

It was.

And she wasn't going to deny it.

She found herself telling Liora everything about her and Kenric's relationship. But this time, it wasn't because of sadness.

It was because of anger.

Liora's expression was hard to read. It looked something like anger and pity and-

Pity.

That was one thing she had absolutely had enough of.

"Why is everyone Pitying me!?!" She didn't mean to say it aloud, but it came. And she didn't take it back. It felt almost... good. So she continued...

"Everyone is like, 'oh I'm so sorry for your loss' and, 'we brought you flowers because we feel sorry for you' But, I. DON'T. CARE! I DON'T NEED EVERYONE FEELING SORRY FOR ME!!! I JUST WANT SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS!"

Then it clicked.

"Grady, Edaline." She mumbled. She knew they had been through loss. She knew they had been through so much pain.watching Sophie do dangerous things over and over again. They would understand.

"I'm sorry Liora, thanks for the help. I'm making a pit stop at Havenfield."

She then sprinted. Sprinted out of the woods and out onto the lushberry
field. She set her pathfinder to Havenfield and leaped there.

When she arrived, it was Sophie who answered. "Oralie? I mean, Councilor Oralie? What in the name of the Forbidden Cities are you doing here?"

"I need- totalk... to-yourparents." Her sentences were uneven as she was still out of breath.

"Oh, ok." Sophie replied, then called "GRADY! EDALINE! COUNCILOR ORALIE IS CURRENTLY WAITING AT THE DOOR!"

"COMING!" Grady and Edaline's voices shouted (not to mention pretty synchronized).

About 15 seconds later, Grady and Edaline came rushing up behind Sophie.
"Hi Councilor Oralie." Edaline's sweet voice said, "Come in the main living room. I'll make tea."

"Can I come?!" Said Sophie hopefully.

"No dear, how about you go over to Keefe's?" Edaline said.

"NOT THAT BOY!!!" Grady yelped. He cast a side eye in Edaline's direction. "Maybe you can go over to Dex's???" The hopeful glint in Grady's eye was hard to miss.

"Dex isn't home today. He and Kesler are in Gildingham Today." Sophie said.

"Gildingham Eh?" Sandor asked, popping out of the shadows.

Sophie jumped, Grady stepped backward into Bo, who yelped and accidentally kicked Flori, who fell onto Tarina (who was finally back), who jumped up and onto the chandelier, which fell onto Queen Nubiti's head- which had just popped out of the ground-, which knocked her out and toppled over to Oralie, who caught her but fell over herself, knocking open the door, which banged into Sandor's head, who kicked the door off it's frame.

And Edaline?

Edaline didn't even flinch.

"That's three out of five bodyguards knocked out, which means I can run free! Yipee!" Said Sophie.

Sandor grabbed her by the collar, picked her up, and slung her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Nuh-uh-uh. We are going to Keefe's."

Sophie just giggled and motioned for Bo to join them.

Grady was in a daze. "That Boy..." He kept on muttering.

"Oh boy," Edaline said matter-of-factly. "We better get this cleaned up."

A/N: Sorry it was short!! I'm working on the next part, but I have to get up at 6 for high school and I kinda want to sleep soooooo, yeah...
