Fred and Billy wandered through the barren streets, their eyes scanning the horizon as they mulled over the strange circumstances that had unfolded over the past few weeks. They had seen the Autobots, the towering alien robots, but they still couldn't quite wrap their heads around why these giant beings were on Earth.
"I'm telling you, they've got to be here for something big," Billy said, his voice low as he kicked a small rock across the road.
Fred nodded, still deep in thought. "Yeah, but what could they possibly want here?"
Before they could debate further, Fred's eyes caught movement in the distance. Rad, Carlos, and Alexis were heading toward them. Without a second thought, Billy and Fred decided to follow.
The trio noticed Fred and Billy tailing them and quickly picked up the pace, but their situation took a sudden turn when Cyclonus appeared overhead. His rotor blades sliced through the air as he swooped down, forcing Rad and his friends to split up and flee.
Cyclonus, never one to shy away from playing with his prey, toyed with Rad as the boy darted between trees, doing his best to stay out of sight. Hiding behind a thick tree trunk, Rad commanded Laserbeak to fly ahead and surprise Cyclonus. A sudden shock jolted the Decepticon, and Rad took the opportunity to make a break for it.
After trailing Rad for a while longer, Cyclonus eventually lost him in the dense woods. However, his sharp optics soon caught sight of two more targets—Billy and Fred. With a wicked grin, Cyclonus swooped down and grabbed them.
"Alright, Autobots!" Cyclonus shouted, his voice booming across the forest. "I've got some hostages now. If you want them back, hand over the Mini-Cons!"
Rad, having hidden nearby, quickly sent Laserbeak to tail Cyclonus as he carried Fred and Billy toward a desolate ghost town.
Back at the Autobot base, Cassie sat comfortably on Optimus Prime's shoulder as the alarms went off, signaling the Decepticon activity. She was enjoying the view, but the moment Cyclonus's transmission reached their ears, everything changed.
"Cyclonus has taken hostages," Optimus informed the group, his tone serious.
Cassie perked up. "We need to get them back. Let's move."
Optimus nodded. "Agreed. Cassie, stay close."
The Autobots quickly tracked Laserbeak's signal to the ghost town, a haunting, derelict place with abandoned buildings and scattered debris. As they arrived, Optimus, Red Alert, Hot Shot, and the others split up to confront the Decepticons. The ghost town was eerily silent as they moved forward.
Cassie sat securely on Optimus's shoulder, scanning the area for any sign of Cyclonus. She felt a pit in her stomach, knowing that things could turn dangerous at any moment.
In the distance, Starscream and Demolishor stood alongside Cyclonus, none of them looking particularly confident in their hostage plan. Billy and Fred were trapped inside a nearby decrepit building, their nervous eyes fixated on the Mini-Con, Leader-1, who guarded them.
Meanwhile, inside the building, Billy and Fred were growing restless. Desperation began to take hold as they eyed Leader-1, wondering if they could do something to escape. With a burst of courage, they jumped the Mini-Con, trying to wrestle him to the ground. Leader-1 fired off a laser blast, the energy scorching through the roof and causing the building to groan under the pressure.
Outside, the Autobots heard the commotion, but before they could approach the building, the Decepticons blocked their path, and the fight began.
Cassie watched the chaos unfold, her heart racing. She spotted Rad and the others sneaking into the building to try and help their friends. As they did, Megatron emerged from beneath a pile of junk, towering over them. The Decepticon leader trapped them all—including Cassie—in an energy sphere before bursting through the building wall with his prize.
