3rd POV
It was early in the morning, and a boy is seen swimming in the swim facility pool.
Haruka Nanase, the boy in the pool, had finished swimming a few laps before taking for his swim cap and goggles.
Once he does, a hand reaches out, attempting to help him out of the pool. When he looks up, he sees his two childhood best friends.
Makoto Tachibana and (Y/N) (L/N).
"Good morning, Haruka", Makoto greets with a bright smile.
"Morning, Haru", (Y/N) greets as well.
Haru looks at Makoto's hand and then at him before turning away.
"I told you to stop calling me Haruka", the boy mutters.
The two out of the pool look in shock before laughing.
"Typical Haru", (Y/N) jokes.
What she doesn't notice is the shade of pink that briefly crossed his face.
"Well anyway, it's time for you to get ready or we'll be late for the entrance ceremony", she says.
Haru looks back at them and then grabs Makoto's hand that pulls him out of the pool.
...
Makoto and (Y/N) stand outside of the boys' locker room, waiting for Haru to get his uniform on.
This year was the trio's first year of middle school and they didn't want to be late.
From the inside of the locker room, Haru has his uniform on, though he is having trouble finding comfort in the top button on his collar, so he just unbuttons it.
Once he walks out, Makoto takes notice of the unbuttoned jacket.
"Haru, you need to button up your collar!", Makoto scolds as he buttons Haru up.
(Y/N) chuckles when she sees the blue-eyed boy's pout as he looks away.
...
"It's too tight", Haru says bluntly once they all walk out of the swim facility.
"Easy for you to say. I'm still trying to get used to this tie", (Y/N) says, referring to the red tie on her uniform, that she continuously had to retie.
"Don't worry. You both will get used to your uniforms in no time!", Makoto reassures.
...
On the way to school, the three come across a trail heading there and there were so many cherry blossoms in bloom. (Y/N) couldn't help but look in awe at the view.
"How did you guys know where I was going to be?", Haru asks his friends.
Makoto looks at him with a bright smile.
"Well, we know everything about you, Haru!", he says, shocking the boy.
"Is what this goofball wants to say", (Y/N) says, nudging Makoto.
