Hospitals were boring. There was no denying that. Even with all of the drama leaching through the halls and the traumas going in and out of the surgical floor... there was still plenty of boredom to go around.

So between her school work and medical testings, Aurora Doe had to find an interest. Something to fill her boredom in between the shifts of her favourite interns. She tried a few activities like colouring but she quit that out of spite.

Aurora once spent a good two days working on this massively detailed drawing, but accidentally messed it up when she suddenly coded. The drawing was messed up and her anger never wavered. Practically refusing to draw out of spite.

Another thing she tried was knitting, but her doctors didn't really like the idea of sharp objects around her. As she may or may not have threatened to use a knitting needle on another patient before. Though it couldn't be proven.

But that's when she was introduced to bracelets making. At first she just tried it because her lawyer was in the hospital getting her stomach pumped and wanted to surprise her. Though the weirdest thing happened... when she smiled and put it on, Aurora felt something strange. She wasn't sure what it was but she rather liked it as she never felt that way before.

And she wanted to experience it again, so she started making more. And more. And more.

After that it became somewhat of a custom on the Pediatric Ward. Doctors and nurses wore the colour coded bracelets determining either their rank or rather personality. Then when she ran out of staff to make the friendship bracelets for, she moved onto patients. Making small beaded necklaces, bracelets and rings for the parents and children for fun.

So as Aurora started to prepare her latest gift she couldn't help but notice Doctor Grey coming in with a rather large smile on her face, which made Aurora's brow raise, "Good morning, Aurora!"

The tween watched the woman smiling ear to ear as she placed a basket of muffins on her end table, "Happy Monday."

Aurora looked between her doctor and the muffins, "Morning?"

"Hope you don't mind, I brought you a little something. Hope you like blueberry cream cheese muffins," her voice was airy, cheerful, wrong. "Freshly baked!"

Still not wanting to pass up the chance of eating something other than hospital food she picked one up, "Is this a bribe? You can't bribe me into requesting you for my transplant, Doctor Grey."

"No bribe. Just thought you'd like them," she smiled.

Before Aurora could press her call button, under the assumption the intern stole some morphine, Doctor Yang came, "Doctor Grey didn't make them, she can't even make bread and butter. They're not poisoned," the intern quickly checked her chart. "And she's giving them away to anyone so don't worry. You aren't special."
