"So, starting this moment, I have to live the life of Uzumaki Naruto...?"

Kiyotaka couldn't help but lament how shitty his fate was. He clearly remembered that he said he would like to live freely if he got the chance to reincarnate. So, why couldn't his soul transmigrate to a far more normal body?

Uzumaki Naruto wasn't simple at all. Far from it.

Kiyotaka had seen his memories from a baby till the moment he learnt about Kyuubi.

So, he knew he was the son of the former leader of the village through the picture Naruto saw in Hokage's office. It meant Kiyotaka would be hunted down should he escape the village.

And there's no need to add the fact that he was a Kyuubi Jinchuriki.

"Is this my punishment for all of my sin?" asked Kiyotaka to no one in particular. "I guess if there's a god, he must want me to suffer."

Kiyotaka sighed. There's nothing he could do except for accepting his situation. He just had to make the best out of it.

Besides, Uzumaki Naruto's body was not bad.

In this shinobi world, perhaps he was the one with the most potential. The boy wasn't exactly a total airhead. He managed to learn a forbidden jutsu after a single read. A very, very useful jutsu.

After a moment, Kiyotaka left the bedroom and went toward bathroom.

He had a cold shower. Even if he wanted to have a hot shower, Naruto was too poor to afford it. His parents' money must have been used by the village to help rebuild the village after the Kyuubi's attack.

Corruption is everywhere, the difference in space-time makes no different.

Once he done showering, Kiyotaka---who had to live as Naruto---opened the cupboard.

"..."

Kiyotaka could only stare in disbelief.

Orange jumpsuit, really? What was that idiot thinking when he decided to only buy that jumpsuit? Was he so stupid that he didn't think of using transformation jutsu to trick the store owner to sell him something good?

Kiyotaka could understand how tough Naruto's life was, but at the very least he should maintain a common sense, right?

"What will people think if the Ex-Prime Minister Ayanokouji Kiyotaka wears this thing?"

Kiyotaka sighed again. He admitted defeat for the second time, reluctantly taking the jumpsuit.

After fully dressed, Kiyotaka took the head protector and burnt the letter written by---highly likely---an anbu. He created two shadow clones to clean the room. Locking the door, Kiyotaka finally left the apartment building.

Starting today, he had to forget the life of Ayanokouji Kiyotaka.

This was a second chance with a new name, new body, new set of skills, and certainly a new environtment. This was a new life. Kiyotaka, no, Naruto had to make the best of this life to live freely. It's difficult due to Naruto's background, but he would manage.

Before long, Naruto arrived at Konoha's ninja academy.

He immediately went toward his class. Naruto arrived exactly five minutes before the class started. Today was the last day. Starting tomorrow they would no longer set foot in this building, at least not as academy student.

"Naruto, what are you doing here? You failed the ex---wait, wait, Naruto, where're your whisker marks?"

That loud question belonged to Kiba. Even though he's loud, the original Naruto was at least two times louder than him. Kiba liked to try to impress the girls, and original Naruto was an attention whore.
