It's been 300 years since Hope last saw her family. 300 years since she saw her friends. 300 years since she was happy.

And at the moment she and Peeta were sitting on the train on their way two fight their second Hunger Games, and they both knew this wasn't going to end well. The whole world thought they were getting married, and now they're about to have to kill each other again. It wasn't right, and it wasn't fair either.

But Hope knew this time around she wasn't going to leave the arena alive.

Like every time before, this time she was going to fake her death and make sure Peeta or her old friend, Finnick, got out alive. Because out of everyone in this God awful world, they deserved to win the most.

But Hope was pulled from her thoughts when a light came through and took her and everyone else of importance away.

When she opened her eyes, ready for a fight, she was met with her friends and family, along with faces she never thought she'd see again. The faces of her friends and family.

"Oh my God." Hope breathed out and everyone looked at her, but she was looking at the faces in front of her. "Oh my God." She repeated, going forward and hugging the first person she got her hands on, which just happened to be Lizzie.

"Hope." Josie said before going forward and hugging the girl, who unwrapped an arm from Lizzie to pull the other girl into a hug.

"Lizzie, Jo." She said, as if trying to figure out if they were real or not.

"It's us. All of us." Lizzie promised, looking at the others in the super squad.

"Hey, Hope." MG said and she laughed and went over to hug him along with the others.

"Hope." A voice said. A voice she hadn't heard in a really long time. It was her father's voice.

She slowly turned to him, her eyes on the ground as if she was still that 15 year old girl who had just kidnapped her mother. Her eyes slowly made it's way from the floor and up to his face, and she broke. She burst into tears as she quickly ran (at human speed) over to him and threw her arms around him as she broke down into sobs, her mother quickly joining in, making it all that much worse.

"What the hell is happening?" Haymitch asked, confused with all the crying from the girl who he'd never once seen cry in all the years he'd known her. Which were a lot.

"God, I'm so embarrassed." Hope said, pulling away as she quickly wiped at her face before making all of the necessary introductions.

"Good, now that everyone knows each other. You're all here to read about the past year and about the future. So, everyone take your seats and start reading." A voice said from above.

After a while more of talking everyone made their way to their seats and sat down.

Hope sat next to her father, with her mother on his other side, and her uncle next to her. And when Peeta went to pass by her to sit somewhere, she grabbed his hand, causing just about everyone to turn to her, either right away or slowly but all none the less.

"Stay with me, please." She asked him, and he frowned slightly.

"There are no cameras, Hope." he told her and she nodded.

"I know. Stay with me." She told him and after a moment he nodded and sat next to her.

A few people watched them with smiles, others with calculating looks, and one with a straight up glare.

"I'll read first. It's my life, it makes since I read first." Hope told them before reaching forward to take the first book. "The Hunger Games; Part One; The Tributes. Chapter 1."
