Under the Stars---

As the festival night deepened, the energy at their booth remained vibrant. Chuuya and Dazai interacted with the students, their laughter blending with the sounds of music and celebration around them. Each successful design they crafted drew cheers and compliments, filling Chuuya with a sense of accomplishment he had never expected.

“Can you believe how popular we are?” Dazai said, a gleam of mischief in his eyes as he leaned closer to Chuuya, their shoulders brushing.

“Don’t get too cocky,” Chuuya replied, trying to maintain his composure. “We’re just good at what we do.”

“True, but you’ve got to admit we make a pretty great team,” Dazai said, his voice softening for a moment.

Chuuya felt a warmth spread through him at the compliment, but before he could respond, a group of their classmates approached, eagerly requesting custom designs. The evening turned into a whirlwind of creativity, with both boys throwing themselves into the work.

As the hours passed, Chuuya found himself captivated by Dazai's infectious enthusiasm. Dazai's laughter was a melody that resonated with something deep inside him, and he couldn’t help but feel a sense of joy blooming within.

Eventually, as the festival began to wind down, the students dispersed, and the bustling energy started to fade. Chuuya looked around, realizing how much fun he had truly had. “We really did make an impact tonight,” he said, glancing at Dazai, who was busy packing up their supplies.

“Of course! We were amazing,” Dazai replied, a triumphant grin on his face. “And we still have some time left before it’s over.”

Chuuya raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “What do you have in mind?”

“Let’s go explore the rest of the festival! I want to ride the Ferris wheel,” Dazai declared, excitement radiating from him.

Chuuya hesitated for a moment. Heights weren’t his favorite thing, but he found it hard to resist Dazai’s enthusiasm. “Fine. But you’re not going to make me regret it.”

“Promise! It’ll be fun,” Dazai insisted, and before Chuuya could protest further, he grabbed his hand and led him toward the rides.

As they approached the Ferris wheel, the lights sparkled against the night sky, creating a mesmerizing backdrop. Chuuya’s stomach fluttered at the sight of it, but he pushed his nerves aside, wanting to enjoy the moment.

Dazai paid for their tickets, and as they climbed into the carriage, Chuuya’s heart raced—not just from the height, but from being so close to Dazai. The ride began to ascend, and as they reached the top, the view of the festival lit up beneath them was breathtaking.

“See? Isn’t it beautiful?” Dazai said, his eyes shining with excitement.

Chuuya looked out, taking in the colorful lights and the sea of students laughing below. “Yeah, it is,” he admitted, feeling a sense of awe.

As they hovered at the peak, Dazai turned to him, the moment feeling charged with unspoken feelings. “You know, I’m really glad we met,” he said softly, his gaze steady on Chuuya.

“Me too,” Chuuya replied, the sincerity of his words surprising him. “You’ve made this year… interesting.”

Dazai chuckled, leaning closer. “Interesting? Is that your way of saying I’m a good influence?”

“Something like that,” Chuuya replied, feeling his heart race.

The moment hung in the air, tension crackling between them as they locked eyes. Chuuya felt his breath hitch; it was as if the world around them faded away. He realized he wanted to say something more, something deeper, but the words eluded him.
