The warm light of the late afternoon sun spilled into the room, casting a golden glow over everything. I leaned back in my chair, surveying the scene unfolding before me. Elena stood at the center of the celebration, radiating joy and confidence as she accepted congratulations from friends and family. She looked stunning, her smile infectious, and I couldn't help but feel proud. At just 21, she had accomplished what many could only dream of—she was officially a doctor and had just completed her master's degree in medical studies, specializing in internal medicine.

"Hey, you!" Tyler nudged me playfully. "Quit staring and help me with the snacks. We're celebrating, not ogling."

I chuckled, shaking off my momentary reverie. "Yeah, right. Like you're not doing the same."

Tyler grinned, giving me a playful punch on the shoulder as we made our way to the table laden with food. "It's hard not to look at her. She's amazing. I mean, how many people can say they became a doctor at 16?"

"Not many," I replied, glancing back at Elena. She was surrounded by Jenna and Ava, who were fawning over her latest accomplishments, each of them celebrating with genuine pride. They had all been through so much together, from our chaotic days at Phaedra Academy to the personal battles each of us faced.

As I prepared the snacks, I reflected on the journey that brought us here. My thoughts drifted to the challenges we had faced, not just as individuals but as a group. "Let's raise a toast to our girl!" Tyler called out, breaking me from my thoughts.

"Not me," she laughed, her eyes shining. "I mean, I was convinced you were a troublemaker."

"Still am," I teased, nudging her playfully. "Just channeling it into community reform now."
