???'s POV

"I'm afraid."
I admitted. Looking down at the city beneath us, the cold wind howling to meet our faces. Our hair swept back, as we held each other tightly in embrace, my hand around his, squeezing his palm for dear life.

"Afraid your highness? You said you'd do anything to see the stars with me~"
He chuckled warmly. I could feel the cold, chilling grip of fear around me melt. As long as he wanted it, I will do anything he asks.

"Its only natural! We're above the tallest spire in the city, the guards on our tail, my father after your head, By the Gods..." The skies rumbled

"Why did you even take it!?"
I shook him, nearly slipping, when he wrapped an arm to snatch me by my waist, pressing our bodies hard against the cold stone walls, stopping our near brush with Hades.

An amused grin drew between his lips, a thin line of red that looked warm and mesmerising beneath this moonlit night.

The thrill of danger painting his cheeks red with a mad grin, one I cannot help but reciprocate back.
"Ah, you worry for me my prince? Or do you suppose you're worried my infamy might rub off on that perfect wedding of yours?"

My smile fell, and I pushed him back, immediately regretting it as I nearly fell again, this time, he dragged me away from the ledge, I cursed at him.

I never liked it when he brought about the topic of my arranged marriage. It always spoiled the mood of occasion for me.

"You know I care little for my reputation. I'm not my father, damn you."
I cursed, hitting him gently against his shoulder, he chuckled, nuzzling my hair with his scarred hand. I leaned into his touch, foolishly allowing it to linger on my head.

"I know, I know. That's why I think you'd make a great replacement for the old coot,-"
He pursed his mouth, he looked like he wanted to say more, I wanted to say something else, but my ears and face felt hot. He lifted his hand away from me, and I pulled back, turning to face our path.

"By the Gods . . ." the skies rumbled. "Let's just reach the top, I still have to speak to you of the constellations."

"Oh yes right, with the eagle, the big and small bear, and the immortal twink, yes? I remember them, you wouldn't stop fawning and bawling your eyes out whenever I bring up the story of the two twins thing. . ."

He mocked my passion, but I could not help but find humour he at least knew and remembered the simplified tales behind the things I told him.
"Oh shut it. Now come on, we mustn't linger here any longer."

I looked back at him once, regarding his demeanor. "and please... accompany me to watch the stars once more, will you?"

"As you command, my dear prince~"
He bowed dramatically, I groaned and stepped closer to drag him towards the stairwell.

The Night was young, and so were we, I had only hoped it would remain as peaceful as it was now.

Percy's POV

Word of the bathroom incident spread immediately. Wherever I went, campers pointed at me and murmured something about toilet water. Or maybe they were just staring at Annabeth, who was still pretty much dripping wet.

Basil wordlessly offered to wipe her down with his robes, but she denied with a cool, and somewhat unreadable body language.

Along the way, I noticed that ever since the three of us left Cabin eleven, more campers were staring right at us, their eyes following each action we take.
