Honda unsheathed his blade with a satisfying "shing". He watched as his opponent seemed to psyche himself up. The monkey put his grand staff over his shoulders and circled Honda, sizing him up while laughing. Not unlike the small Kaiju he knew before would circle him. It was now that the samurai truly knew that this man was no man. He was more beast. The nature of the monkey was irrepressible.

Honda would make the first move. In the blink of an eye he ran towards his enemy, preparing to slash him. The monkey put his staff vertical to the ground and moved around it, dodging Hondas sword. The monkey jumped up onto the staff and put only one leg onto it. He pushed his foot off of it and jumped off, then used his own momentum to strike down at Hondas head. The sheer force of the strike split the samurais hat in half. Honda looked up at the monkey with a blood-curdling rage as his old hat slowly drifted apart into two pieces and fell to the ground beside him.

Honda, in a fit of pure anger, jousted his blade into Hou Wang. The mighty monkey spun his staff at its center and deflected the strike from the samurai. His great rod spun in a circular motion and Honda noticed it left a trail of black streaks in the air when it was swung. Like black paintbrush strokes through the air. Honda held his sword over his head and swiftly cut down overhead, hoping to cut the fierce primate into two. The monkey held his staff over his head, blocking the samurai's blade with it. Honda could actually feel him struggle. Not only through the strength of his weapon, but on his face. The monkey bared his teeth yet he still smirked.

The monkey then suddenly threw Honda off of him, and his blade went with him. The samurai realised that the monkey was holding back. Hou Wang ran towards his adversary and threw his grand staff in the air. In the middle of running, the abominable ape performed a somersault in the air and caught his golden rod. Whilst upside-down midair, the monkey performed a feat Honda would find ridiculous if it didn't hurt him like hell. He struck the samurai on the head yet again.

The samurai readied himself again, despite his nearly cracking-open cranium. He swung his blade towards the monkey but it was caught by his staff with a metallic clang. Honda tried to throw off the fiercely defiant Hou Wang by trying to slash him in several different directions. He all seemed to catch these strikes with the foresight of a great experienced warrior. In this moment, Honda knew the supposed legends were true. Hou Wang struck the samurais blade down to the ground and landed a well placed kick to Honda's chest, sending him onto the ground further from him.

Despite nearing a concussion, the samurai quickly devised a plan. Honda kneeled on the dusty ground, seeming as though he had been defeated. He held the sore spot on his head.

The monkey approached him without any defense. Wide open for the taking. "I suppose you'll be leaving empty handed. You have lost, samurai!" He said with a chuckle.

His enjoyment was cut short by the burning sensation of a metal shaft in his abdomen. Honda stabbed Hou Wang through the stomach, and pulled out his blade. The samurai looked down to his kitana, stained with blood. He wiped the blood off of it with his sleeve. The colour simply blended in. "I've won. You are to come with me. Now." Hou Wang coughed up a bit of blood, laughing. "Impressive!"
