Kierra's POV:

The morning light filtered through the curtains as Kierra stirred awake, a sense of peace washing over her. The memory of last night still lingered—Danielle's romantic gesture, the sweet kiss, and their long, late-night conversation. It all felt like a dream she didn't want to end.

She turned over in bed and smiled to herself, thinking about how her life had changed in such a short time. Danielle wasn't just someone she was dating anymore—she was her girlfriend. The title felt surreal and exciting all at once.

Khloe's soft babbling came from the baby monitor, pulling Kierra out of her thoughts. She stretched, her body still buzzing from the emotions of the night before, and got out of bed to start her day.

When she entered Khloe's room, her daughter greeted her with a bright smile, reaching up from her crib. Kierra's heart swelled as she scooped her up, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

"Good morning, my sweet girl," Kierra whispered. "Guess what? Mommy's got a girlfriend now."

Khloe, of course, responded with more babbles and giggles, completely oblivious but happy nonetheless. Kierra chuckled, walking with her to the kitchen to start breakfast.

As she moved about, making Khloe's bottle and preparing some coffee for herself, Kierra's phone buzzed on the counter. She glanced over and saw Danielle's name light up the screen.

A smile spread across her face as she picked up the phone.

Danielle's POV:

Danielle couldn't help but feel a little giddy as she texted Kierra that morning. She was still riding the high from last night—asking Kierra to be her girlfriend had felt right, and waking up knowing they were officially together brought a sense of calm she hadn't felt in a long time.

She was in the middle of making breakfast for Freeya when her phone buzzed with Kierra's response.

Kierra: Good morning, beautiful! Khloe and I are just waking up. How's Freeya?

Danielle smiled, glancing over at her daughter, who was happily munching on her cereal at the kitchen table. Freeya's cheerful energy was contagious, and it made Danielle's heart feel even fuller.

Danielle: Morning, babe. Freeya's doing great, eating breakfast like a little queen over here. I was thinking... what if we all did something fun today? Maybe take the girls to the park?

Kierra: That sounds perfect! Khloe would love that, and I'd love to spend the day with you. Let's make it happen.

Danielle's heart fluttered. She could already picture the scene—Khloe and Freeya playing in the grass while she and Kierra sat on a blanket, soaking up the sunshine and each other's company. It was everything she wanted—a simple, peaceful day with the two people who mattered most to her.

Danielle: It's a date. I'll swing by around noon, sound good?

Kierra: Perfect. I can't wait to see you. 😊

As Danielle hit send, she couldn't help but feel like everything was falling into place. She had Freeya, the light of her life, and now she had Kierra—someone who made her feel seen, cherished, and understood in a way no one else had.

The park would just be the start of many memories to come, and Danielle was ready for it all.

The park was a beautiful sight—a vast stretch of green grass with trees offering shade, and a playground full of laughter and children's excitement. Danielle arrived first with Freeya, who immediately ran to the playground, her energy boundless.
