Life in the Uesugi household had shifted into an entirely new kind of rhythm. The once spacious bedroom that Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki shared with Futaro was still the heart of their home, but now a new room had been added to their daily routine—the nursery. This separate space, attached to the bedroom, was designed with love and care, boasting five cribs lined up in neat rows, each one unique to reflect their child’s growing personality.

The nursery was a calming sanctuary filled with pastel colors and soft lights, with hand-sewn quilts draped over each crib. Tiny mobiles hung overhead, gently swaying to keep the babies entertained. It had become a central hub for the family’s new routine, but their shared bedroom still held that sense of unity they had always cherished.

---

Aiko Uesugi, Ichika’s daughter, lay quietly in her crib, her dark blue eyes wide and curious as she watched the mobile spin above her. Even as a newborn, Aiko had a calmness about her that was rare for her age, rarely fussing unless she needed something. Ichika often found herself sneaking into the nursery at night just to watch her sleep, already imagining her little girl growing into the composed, nurturing person she’d met in the past.

In the soft light of the nursery, Ichika gently rocked Aiko in her arms, humming a lullaby. "She’s going to grow up so fast," she whispered to Futaro, who was watching them both with a mix of awe and exhaustion. "You need to get some sleep, you know," she teased, noticing the dark circles under his eyes.

---

Ren Uesugi, Nino’s son, had already proven himself to be as bold as his mother. His crib was closest to the door, and he often let out cries for attention, his vibrant pink hair already catching the soft light. He was never shy about letting the entire household know when he was unhappy, waving his little fists around with determination.

"Like mother, like son," Futaro muttered for the hundredth time, cradling Ren and trying to calm him as Nino entered the nursery with a smug grin.

"He’s going to be a leader, just you watch," Nino said proudly, taking Ren into her arms with practiced ease. "You look like you’re about to pass out, Futaro. Go lie down before you drop."

---

Haru Uesugi, Miku’s daughter, was as quiet and introspective as they had expected. Her dark pink hair curled gently around her soft cheeks, and she often lay peacefully in her crib, gazing up at the ceiling or at the bookshelves that Miku had already filled with stories and history books. Haru rarely cried, but when she did, it was a soft whimper, easily soothed by her mother’s presence.

Miku loved sitting beside Haru’s crib, reading aloud even though her daughter was still too young to understand. "She’s going to be so smart," Miku whispered, brushing her fingers through Haru’s hair. "I can already see her love for learning, just like we saw in the past."

---

Sora Uesugi, Yotsuba’s son, had the energy of ten babies rolled into one. His crib was always the most active, with Sora wriggling and kicking constantly, his bright orange hair standing out in the soft light of the nursery. He was always eager to move, already showing signs of the adventurous spirit Yotsuba and Futaro had seen in his future self.

"He’s going to be a handful," Futaro sighed, watching Yotsuba laugh as she played with Sora’s tiny feet, gently bouncing him on her knee. "I don’t know how you manage to keep up with him."

Yotsuba beamed. "It’s all about energy! We just have to keep moving." She grinned down at Sora, who giggled up at her, his dark blue eyes full of life.

---

Rina Uesugi, Itsuki’s daughter, was the most serious of the bunch, even as a newborn. Her bright red hair and dark blue eyes mirrored her mother’s determined personality. Rina’s crib was always neatly arranged, and she had already settled into a routine quicker than her siblings, waking up at the same times each night for feedings.

Itsuki couldn’t help but smile proudly at her daughter’s focus, already planning out Rina’s future studies. "She’s going to be a genius," Itsuki said, leaning over the crib to adjust Rina’s blanket. "I can feel it."

Futaro chuckled softly from the doorway, glancing at the cribs all lined up in a row, feeling overwhelmed but so, so grateful. "Five babies, five cribs," he muttered under his breath. "How did we get here?"

---

Their bedroom, still the same giant bed they all shared, remained a sanctuary of sorts for Futaro and his five wives. After the babies were tucked into the nursery for the night, the family would gather together, exhausted but happy, savoring the rare moments of quiet. Futaro, however, never felt quite rested—between his constant trips to the nursery and the busy days filled with bottles, diapers, and cuddles, he was always on the move.

"You’re doing great," Miku whispered one night, as she curled up beside him on the bed, her hand resting lightly on his arm.

"Yeah, you’ve got this, Futaro," Yotsuba chimed in from his other side, her usual optimism lighting up the room even in the dim light.

Futaro sighed, though a smile played at his lips. "I don’t know how you all manage to stay so calm. I feel like I’m one step away from a breakdown."

Ichika chuckled from her spot beside him, leaning in to kiss his cheek. "We’ve seen the future, remember? We already know how amazing you are."

And with that reassurance, Futaro let himself relax, even if only for a few moments, knowing that despite the chaos, they were a team—a family that could handle anything, even with five babies waiting just a room away.

---

With their lives now revolving around their five children, the Uesugi household had never been busier, but neither had it ever felt more complete. Five babies, five wives, and one husband—it was a life of love, laughter, and endless adventures.
