"Want me to wash your back for you ?" you smirked, wiggling your eyebrows as you nudged the dark haired girl with your shoulder.
The music lover burst into a loud fit of laughter.

"Oh my God, -y/n-, that's the worst one yet, are you kidding me ?"

You laughed in return, shrugging your shoulders.
Neither of you could honestly tell how you got onto the topic of pick up lines, but here you were, throwing out random, cheesy ones to each other while watching the entrance to a well known hang out spot of one of the villains you had been tracking.
You had started with some of the classics... falling from heaven, is it hot in here, would you hold your body against me.
Then it switched into terrible puns...

"Is there an airport nearby, or is that just my heart taking off ?"

"Your legs must be tired because you've been running through my mind all night."

"Do you have a map because I keep getting lost in your eyes."

After that, things had slowly become more suggestive - and more funny - as you both threw in explicit sexual references but the two of you were clearly running out and at this point Jiro couldn't believe you had actually used any of these.
She knew that she herself hadn't.
She could enjoy the odd pickup line pun for some vague humorous content, but she'd never dare actually try to use one.
Well...she'd tried once as a teenager and been so embarrassed she quickly learned to just start an actual conversation.
Of course, she didn't do one night stands, nor did she ever really approach anyone with the notion that she was trying to start a relationship with them.
For her, it was an evolving thing - they started as friends and then if there was a spark then it could grow.
With her recent ex, they had been the one to pick her up.
And that had been her longest relationship to date and though others even recently had lasted quite some time each, she was single again but with zero plans to head to a bar and try her luck. At her age it just seemed crass.
And somewhere along the conversation of paat relationships, you had wound up spouting these ridiculous lines at each other.

"Are you honestly trying to tell me you asked someone to take a shower with you as an opening line ?" Jiro asked as she controlled her laughter, finally calling you out on your fake "Smooth Dog" antics.
