The Days Before Everything Went to Hell

Good evening, everyone, my name is Arthur Campell. And I am or was the driver of the N.W.R's number 7, Toby. I'm currently in a huge prison-like place ready to be executed in a week and I can't find a way to get out of here at all. I'm missing my family and my old life. But to give you all some context on what's happening, here's what happened on the Island these past couple of days.

Again, I'm the driver of the N.W.R's number 7. Toby. He works on the Ffarquhar Branch with Thomas, Percy, Mavis, and Daisy. He is the middle man of the little engine trio. I remember when he and Percy laughed at Thomas getting scared by Percy when he pretended he was a ghost once. But Thomas and Toby laughed when Percy was covered in hay. Ironically, he doesn't choose sides, he will just laugh at anyone when they are in a situation like this. Mavis also arrived 9 years ago and she was not great at first, she hated Toby and did stuff her way. But after she got stuck in the dip and after Toby almost fell off of the old trestle bridge, the two formed a solid friendship. James also didn't go kind to Toby at first, but after he crashed into tar tankers some 30 years ago, they also formed a friendship. Rosie and Dennis are also companions with Toby as well, and I miss them both. But why I'm I telling you all this if this is stuff you all already know? I just wanted to give a backstory on what's been happening for the past few decades I've been on this Island, as I wanted to get it off my chest. But anyways, the story began after I got back to my house, I was tired and I turned on the TV and began to watch an episode of Doctor Who. But then the broadcast was replaced by an EAS program. The program told me that the U.S. and the military are beginning to have trouble with their status and are beginning to get banished from the U.S the military has been fed up and is going to colonize the place and kill everyone there. After a 30-second stand-by segment, the reports began to pile up that Sodor was going to get colonized and the Island is not going to be safe from harm's hands. Then the program resumed to normal programming, I must have been asleep through this as I never heard what it said. I soon got into my night clothes and I got into bed and fell asleep. I've just begun angering myself as if I was up, I could have been more prepared for what was about to happen.
